It’s great seeing these episodes again in their entirety. Growing up in NYC, I remember watching edited versions of them on WPIX. Some scenes were taken out to make room for more ads. Many local stations and cable channels do this once a show goes into syndication. Nice to see these classics again the way they were meant to be seen. 🌙 😄
These are great memories I remember as a child watching it on channel 11 in the New York New Jersey area. It would be on at 11 PM every night all throughout the 80s it was the last black-and-white show to survive. What a classic I still quote him to this day. Was so sad to see him go in Miami Beach. Jackie Gleason was a legend.
Now 70, I used to watch this show with Dad as a kid. I still love it. Ralph and Alice reminded me of Mum and Dad, living in a tiny threadbare unit, ice box and Wash tub. They often argued, but were true to eachother all their days. I watch this show and see them again.
Glad that it brings you good memories. What I like best about this show is that it is not only very funny but it is also bittersweet and charming at the same time. It illustrates how people could live happy and fulfilled lives in much simpler times.
I love these old shows, none of the political BS that's injected into everything we see on TV now. Even kid's shows have adult content now like I was just watching the movie " Stray's" and they used a word to replace the F word a bunch of times and was really obvious, I guess maybe that movie was PG or something maybe even R but it WAS geared toward kids who would want to see it. It wasn't terrible or anything but still goes to show that these producers and writers can't keep their mind off either politics or wokeness long enough to write a movie that is just plain fun. These shows give me a needed break from the harsh reality of the world today.
My aunt, who recently passed, would watch this late at night and never missed an episode. I would be in the next room hearing her laugh out loud, knowing her favorite show would be on, and wondered how my uncle would sleep through all that. Thank you for sharing ❤
9 hours of The Honeymooners?! Thanks! Joyce Randolph (Trixie) 99 years of life. Oct.1924 - Jan.2024. I have been watching this show for 50 years and it makes me laugh every time. Never get tired of it.
So Joyce Randolph finally passed away, l was wondering if she was still alive, as of 2023 l knew Joyce was still with us, l know l could look it up on Google, but l don't do that
Thank you ever so much for putting together this fabolus collection of The Honeymonners... As a child it was a regular program in my mom and dads house. I remember my little Aunt Eva would baby sit for me and my sister when our parents were gone. I watch it now in my 71 years of age every day. It calms me down and relaxes me. I wish the world today would be more like the world yesterday... Thanks to you.... it is.
I remember late at night back in the 60's they used to run this on channel 22 from Windsor Canada, I lived in a Suburb of Detroit and I had to sneak to listen to it with one of the old one piece earphone's that we all suffered with back then or my Mom would catch me and I'd get in trouble for watching TV late at night. I fell in love with this show and when I found the Flintstones I loved that too because it was Basically an animated Honeymooners. I still watch these all the time on DVD I have the whole collection and they never get old, I can rewatch these again and again and still laugh. When I got my set of DVD's they were really expensive I think I paid 75.00 for the set. Now It's cool to just be able to play them on here anytime without dragging out the disks. I really liked TV back in the 50's it was fun. But I noticed that most of them were just long commercial's with some entertainment in between the add for one product the whole show. The Flintstones were sponsored by Winston Cigarettes and back in the day they smoked in the adds.
Lol, I was shocked to see Fred and Barney smoking! Then I remembered they did that every show! Speaking about the "one ear" earphone - that was my go-to for my little transistor radio! Way before Walkman or cassette tape recorders! Kids today would not know what to do with those things today! And 8 tracks! My 1971 Buick had an 8 track player! K-tel presents psychedelic sounds!
They didn't need elaborately decorated sets or many different costume changes. They had amazing writers and a marvelous cast of professionals. They knew their lines and how to improvise when things went wrong. Shows today have to redo scenes over and over again for the actors to get things right. Was and always will be the golden age of television.
I loved Jackie Gleason. I was always late for school , overslept from watching the Honeymooners, two episodes from Ten pm, to Eleven pm. Every Weeknight. But I couldn't help it. I'm still loving the show, and I'm 59 years old now! 😂😂😂
Picture quality and audio is perfect. Thank you so much. Best part is no ads. I have been watching this nonstop. Thank you again for bringing this to UA-cam!
Today is my mom's bday, we used to watch this show every night together and laugh till we cried, happy heavenly bday Mom, watching this in memory of you , LOVE U
This is so great. It's like the VHS tapes i made back in the 90s of different shows. Pausing to edit out commercials, not recording the credits. Awesome!
I'm 56 and still love these types of shows. Especially any of the shows i watched with my Grandma that was in black and white. I think of all the good memories and laughs we had together.
Thanks for the memories my friend, you just gave my wife and I a wonderful trip down memory lane. I really appreciate the effort and time that it took you to get this collection of classic comedy.
Thanks for posting these episodes. They sure bring back memories from when I was a little girl in the 1960s! Every once in a while, I need to watch some Ralph and Alice! Add Ed and Trixie to that, too!!
Oh, I love them all!❤ But, my favorite is when Ralph and Ed get "drunk" off of grape juice😂. I have laughed at that scene all 15,000(ish) times that I've seen it❤❤
Thanks for this😊.the honeymooners was probably the very best sitcom ever. Through the sheer genius of the immortal Jackie Gleason and the rest of the cast, this show is still better than ANY other sitcom in television history ❤

Thanks for the memories ! Ed Norton aka Art Carney in WWII was badly wounded in his leg from shrapnel, during the Normandy Invasion. Occasionally you will notice his limp during the show. 😊
That's why Ed always makes an entrance in a rather aloof way. Then he tends to stand on the same spot for most of the rest of the scene, either leaning against a chair or just not walking around much. This is to help disguise that limp. But yes, there are occasions when you can notice it.
