I have 2 Abyssinian and Peruvian piggies, the abyss one is shy and quiet and easily frightened but likes to make a mess when no one is around.The peru one is an eccentric wild rebel who likes to explore around because she's really curious! I love them sm 😍😍💞🐹
I have a 5 year old Abyssinian, she has a white and blond coat wich makes her even more special! Last year we adopted a female guinea pig (don't know her age, but I bet she's young) us was told she was not pregnant, they took tests and everything and we adopted her. When my exams we're done (not to long for Christmas), we wanted to go to a restaurant to celebrate it. I looked at the pigs to makes sure they are ok and comfortable. When I checked Loulou ( the one we adopted) I noticed she lost a little bit of blood coming out of her butt. I thought something was not right and checked their hutch. I found two little babies, only a couple of days old!! I few days before we found them we cleaned their hutch so they we're stil soo young! We contacted the shelter and they told us that we we already took great care of her, because she wouldn't give birth without being comfortable. Right now we have four guinea pigs, the oldest Polly, then Loulou and her babies Little one (female), Dumbo (male). It was such an awesome experience, they are all perfectly healthy and super happy! THE_SWAG_LION Unfortunately, they have both died. But, at least they both died of old age, both having made it past the 7 year mark. I do miss them very much. Iris, the one in my channel picture, used to escape from the cage at night and get in bed with me. Sometimes, her room-mate Daisy (the other Abby) would do the same.
I have a calm and chill American, and a crazy haired Abyssinian. He’s mischievous but he loves to be held. Both are adorable. They do tend to fight because they’re so different sometimes but when something happens or they both want to be naughty....it’s back to best friends again!

I had a family of rex's and they were the sweetest, most calm and cuddly piggies I have ever had. If I were to ever get guinea pigs again I would definetely get that breed again

We adopted 2 abbys and a white crested. We adopted older piggies this time, first time we bought from a pet store. I know i know not good. They are 13 and 14m old piggies the ones we have now and i am surprised at how fast they took to their new cage and us. We are still working on floor time and lap time with them. We have only had them for 2 weeks and its been great so far.

What a great Slide Show!!! The music was a bit much for this old gal, so ended up turning the volume down, but the info was grand, think I will have to look into a Rex for me!! Now, to find a good breeder versus a pet store?? Any recommendations?? My first GP was an American, and my last GP was a rescue and he was an Abby, though I did not know the breeds until your slide show. Thanks for taking the time!!!
I have 2 Abyssinians and I love them! Their hair is pretty long but not so long that you have to brush it everyday. They are easy and manageable. Would definitely recommend them!

Another fact about Skinny Pigs is that they tend to have hair on their nose and feet, not necessarily on their legs but you may sometimes find them with hair on their legs. I have a Teddy guinea pig who is great to play with and he likes cuddling, and a Skinny pig who is black so we call him our mini hippo, he is hilarious and if you are looking for a pet anybody, I would highly recommend getting a Guinea pig.

I have seven guinea pigs.. Einstein (Abyssinian) and Olli (Himalayan), who are the parents to Patch and Curly.. and they are the parents to Rae, Reece and Grace.. those three are still only a few weeks old.
Olli is a unique Himalayan.. she is all white except for reddish-brown spots on the side of her face that go around her eyes and ears. She has no ‘tips’ even though she lives indoors and is hardly exposed to any sunlight.

I didn’t know there was breeds of guinea pigs. I usually from learning this video there’s usually at Petco the American breed but from looking at my guinea pig she’s an Abyssinian cause just by looking at the fur it’s so simple.

i have an abyssinian and a sheltie with two babies. the babies have grown to what seem to be a cross of an American and a sheltie as there fur is very silky looking but not long, their faces are quite long and pointy like their mothers.
i never saw the father so im not sure what breed he was.

the Rex Himalayan skinny pig and alpaca are not guinea pig breeds. and American crested is NOT a nickname for white crested, it is a cross breed. plus you forgot: American satin, teddy satin, abysinnian satin, silkie satin, and Peruvian satin:) if you show cavies you understand
