Your office in Shanghai looks nice - clean and spacious. I normally start work around 8:30 am. Pudong and Suvarnabhumi international terminals don't look busy. I reckon RMB 20K sounds right and dogs have very good memory unlike cats. Look forward to your Thailand vlog.
Good to see you back and ok. Before I retired my wife in 2007. Morning shift was from 8am until 1130 am. Then time for lunch/sleep until 3 pm then work until 530/6 pm to finish customers requests. After work my wife walked home from the office. When the exchange rate was 8 rmb to 1 usd money had a different value. Cars weren't plentiful in Nanning. Most of the time people walked/ biked/ebike. Bus was 1rmb, taxi to get in was 3.5 rmb. 3 wheeled bike/motorbike varied. My in laws had similar times of work. Our son being a chef works ~18 hours a day, like I did at a younger age. It took about 5 years for many things to change to today's standards; Crazy. My wife will be 60yo on Columbus day, yeah! She finally moved into her new granny loft/flat. Our son/family will be in our 4brm home. We wanted to downsize for less upkeep and more traveling time. Seniors playtime in life, lol. Can't wait to get home again to Nanning! Stateside isn't the same place! LOL, not sure upon my return if my wife will know me since, I lost 70 + pounds. She'll have a 6 pack husband for her late birthday present. Downsizing wasn't just our home size. Last month, my wife asked about my clothes ... I said time to recycle them😢 1000s of rmb worth, no need to take to the flat. Lol, for a long time International flights economy could bring 2 bags at 70# each... later it changed to 50# ea. I'll be happier not to be lugging around those oversized clothes! Have fun with your mother ! ENJOY YOURSELF!
