    San Juans are one of mine and my wife's favorite destinations. We just got back from our fifteenth annual trip in September. This year our son and DIL went with us. Pictures in front of Yankee Girl in Red Mountain Mining District are priceless.
    Beautiful scenery. Glad you had a good trip.

    Just happened upon this video. Really well done too I will add. I don't know I'd take some of those roads in my truck camper even though it's similar in size to the Northstar in the video. JEFE's old truck would easily of the group, be able to handle whatever that road threw at it. I bet the Alaskan Camper with the lower CG would do nicely too. The railroad information was a treat too. Thanks for posting this. Great stuff. Maybe see you at the Truck Camper Rally this year.

    How do you like your Alaskan Camper on those trails?

    • @JohnReynolds661
      @JohnReynolds661  11 місяців тому

      Plus: really comfortable seating - the best. Pop top hardside better for sound deadening, insolation and travel. Minus: Bed is not that comfortable, no inside shower. It's a better camper for 4 wheeling.

      4% is the steepest on the C&TS Scenic RR. The 488 is a beast.
