Funny people who were attacking Sadat in this program and calling him traitor are the same people who negotiated in secret with Israel 13 years after Sadat assassination. They accepted far less than what they could have achieved if they join Sadat peace process.

Anwar Sadat is a visionary who could see what others could not. This peace accord with Israel was a high stakes game. Egyptians will be thankful to him for having put Egypt first and foremost at the cost of his life. We need to have constructive leaders and Anwar Sadat is a stellar example of this. Lasting peace needs sacrifices and matured thinking

H MF.Isreal.has never really had peace, And today the main power of the Arab world would Saudi ,Egypt and Jordan, Egypt and Jordan have relations with Israel. So it doesn't have to be ready for war ,I'd say they're prepared for a conflict with Iran but can't see either going to war. But with the mid east who really knows?

Assassination of the Leader always takes the Nation far-far deeper into the conflict and crises than protecting the Leader from any harm. It is very-very and very poor judgment! Sham to all those who played roll in killing President Sadat. He was doing his best to help his Nation moving toward prosperity by establishing peace treaty with Israel. I just do not understand what could be wrong with that! God bless His Soul, our human world needs people like Him!

If it was not for Sadat Israel could have settled the Sinai and the whole thing would be a history. He was Egyptian first president but what can you do when you have wolves as a neighbors. arafat was telling people that we are the core problem and he collaborated with gadaffi to kill sadat. In the end the joke became on them, Egypt got all the land back, gadafi died as a loser who dragged libya and arafat died as a loser who did not esablish a state. Through peace sadat gave everything that belonged to egypt.

Allah yerhama siad barre and Anwar Sadat. Both where targets of gaddafi who wanted to destabilize them and their country. Gaddafi was a opportunist and a dirty player. But at the end he couldn’t defeat siad barre after giving Ethiopia 155 million and giving arms to 2 groups who wanted to overthrow siad. In 1989 siad attended gaddafi 20 year celebration looking dead in his face after attempting so hard to destroy him. Siad died naturally not like gaddafi like he deserved. Sadat was a very good man may allah have mercy on them.

Gaddafi supported Ethiopia together with Israel South Yemen and Cuba and the Soviet Union. Somalia vs all of them and all we wanted was our Ogaden just like how Palestine wants Palestine. Gaddafi was a loser and even asked colonel Abdullahi Yusuf to stay with him for two month to teach him about war tactics for the Tanzanian war, but even he refused and could see trough gaddafi even if he was against siad barre. Abdullahi Yusuf said in his book that gaddafi asked him several times if he would fight with siad barre to free Ogaden. He was very worried about his ability’s, but what can you think of man who take shits on gold toilets while his ppl starve and army get killed in Uganda.

In God’s Name, whose Mercy is Great and Continuous:
(75:1) I swear by the Day of Resurrection,
(75:2) and by the soul full of regret for its actions.
(75:3) Do you think I can’t gather your bones?
(75:4) I can put you back together to the tips of your fingers and toes.
(75:5) You turn away from the truth so that you can keep sinning.
(75:6) You ask sarcastically, “When is the Day of Judgment coming?”
(75:7) When the eyes are dazed,
(75:8) When the moon is forever eclipsed,
(75:9) When the sun and moon are together crushed,
(75:10) On that day you will say, “Where can I run?”
(75:11) No, there is no fortress to escape to.
(75:12) In front of Me is your final destination.
(75:13) On that day, people will be informed of the good and the bad that they were doing.
(75:14) Actually, they know exactly what they are doing,
(75:15) even when they give their rationalizations.
(75:16) Oh Muhammad, slow down when you recite this revelation.
(75:17) It is up to Me to collect it in your heart and to make it easy for recitation.
(75:18) When I am done teaching it to you, then recite it and follow what it tells you to do.
(75:19) Then it is up to Me to make it clear and simple without complication.
(75:20) No, people focus on their short term enjoyment
(75:21) and neglect to prepare for the Day of Judgment.
(75:22) Some faces on that day will be bright and happy,
(75:23) looking at their Lord peacefully.
(75:24) Some faces on that day will be dark and gloomy,
(75:25) knowing that they are about to have a backbreaking calamity.
(75:26) No, when your soul reaches your throat,
(75:27) and the people around you say, “Who can help?”
(75:28) and you realize your time has come,
(75:29) and your legs are put one over the other,
(75:30) on that day your soul, to Me, will come.
    (75:31) But you don’t believe or pray;
    (75:32) you say this is a lie and turn away;
(75:33) then walk to your family in an arrogant way.
    (75:34) You have been warned.
(75:35) Again, you have been warned.
(75:36) Do you think that I would neglect you? And let you do what you want to?
(75:37) Weren’t you once expelled fluid,
(75:38) then you looked like blood that had clotted, then you were molded and given your soul,
(75:39) then developed into a boy or a girl?
(75:40) I made you once. What makes you think I can’t do it again and bring you back to life on the Day of Resurrection?

Mr. Rabin should've refused being interviewed under such terms, but I guess it was a very delicate situation in which diplomacy was far more important than good manners. Western mainstream media always trying to create animosity and chaos within middle Eastern and Arab countries, and the reason is clear: oil.

You need to study history again. Israel never wanted peace with the arabs and all they wanted was to isolate Egypt from the rest of the arab countries. Nasser and Sadat new that way before the 73. Nasser refused because he knew Israel never wanted peace but because Sadat was on the CIA payroll from the early 60s he did what they told him to do. What Sadat achieved after the victory is far less than what Israel offered Nasser after the 67 defeat. So Sadat is a clown and all he wanted was to be like the Shah of Iran, an emperor. His army killed him and they blamed the brotherhood. I guarantee you that you don't know much about the secret treaty of Camp David between Israel and the USA without Sadat knowing. Sadat found out about that secret treaty the day before signing the Camp David Accord and was very upset. His minister Mustafa Khail wrote a letter to the Americans demanding its withdrawal but the American response was "we don't take directions from anyone and we don't need to inform anyone when we sign deals". They told Khalil to withdraw his letter and he did. Sadat went on to sign the treaty anyways. According to Boutrous Ghali it was a very sad day where the Egyptians were unhappy but the Israelis and the Americans were celebrating drinking champagne. Sadat destroyed Egypt and all the Arab counties for many years to come. No wonder why Israel named several streets and squares in many cities in Israel because they consider him the second founder of Israel after Ben Gourion. If you search for Ben Gourion on Google, you will get the photos of Golda Meir, Menachem Begin, Moshe Dayan, Yitzhak Rabin, Shimon Perez, Ariel Sharon and Anwar Sadat. They love him so much because he kicked their ass during the 73 war. You seem to forget that Sadat turned the victory to defeat during the 73 war.
