According to CIA files Sadam had at least 30 lookalikes that were always in circulation in his daily life routines. Nobody actually know anything about him. I’ve seen a program years ago about him. Some CIA official stated that he was the most difficult person to murder!
I've heard that that notion that there were a load of Saddam lookalikes was complete BS, and this comes from the first CIA analyst to have interrogated the man after his capture. The man's name was John Nixon - he wrote a book on the interrogation, how the CIA lied, how the president and the whole administration lied and how so much of the "intelligence" around Iraq and Saddam was fabricated or at least faulty. We know that the 2 given reasons for the invasion were based on lies: 1) that he was building an elaborate WMD programme and 2) that he was harbouring Al Qaeda. The kinds of things that people are willing to believe from the media because it came from an "intelligence source" never ceases to amaze me.

I do the same when translating to English i get it lol..
And you stayed to the end
I bet you can’t even “babble” properly in his language (Arabic), while he speaks English pretty fluently.
This is the best interview describing Saddam. when he said aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
then told us aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
the most reveling part was when the doctor described aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
@Guy Davis So true, it was annoying to watch....

MrFukyootoob .... Try speaking there language and see if you have pauses or noises ...
How did you notice it

I do speak 3 different languages and still don't make the noises this guy makes. The original poster of this comment is right about these noises, it's like he's a live remix of his own words.

Very true Doctor. An absolute truth. Thank you so much 👍👏👌❤️🙏
This is interesting but from reading his book I'm off the mind that he was not as close to Saddam Hussein as he actually portrays.
Why do you think that?
Probably while jotting down, expression didn’t come in.
I wonder how much pressure he was under to be his doctor?? Can you imagine If he would have something the doctor could not fix?
Let me tell you how that was working :
There was small beautifully designed hospital in nice part of Baghdad , Karradat Marrium, which was exclusively for “the leadership “, Avi Sina hospital (mentioned in the interview)
Doctors from different specialties where chosen to be those who would be called when needed and according to their specialties
As a very young trainee surgeon it did happens to me I found myself one day in 1978 in Avi Sina hospital as the oncall resident doctor (one doctor works at different days) and heared Uday , Saddam’s son having an operation to remove his inflamed appendix
Surgeons who did the operation used to work in Medical City
What made Dr Alaa more prominent that other I believe is that part of the super ego of Saddam is to show his interest in arts (especially when it turned out the two persona of Dr Bashir turned one )
Said that , and as medical student taught by Dr Alaa , even as student and before the art side of him became know I wasn’t impressed by some of his manners
But he is good soul
Saddam Hussein is an angel in comparison to the any of the "leaders" of the United States.
You did not live under his regime. .I lived under sadam rule and he is pure evil

My words are for everyone who bully here. ✌🏼👊🏼
I hate it because this Doctor in a 30 Min Interview (And his book, Which is fantastic) really does actually describe the Psychology of Dictators better than anybody I have ever seen, better than Albert Speer's description of Hitler, Khruschev description of Stalin or Li Zhishui description of Mao. But the dumbshits here are more focused on the "Ehh" and Larry David jokes. The story about the Saddam Paintings are symbols of "how much people love me", "Their replacement is twice as bad as the person I replaced", and "This is normal for Iraq", show the twisted alternate universe Dictators live in, how Westerners have no clue what they are doing (note: I am not saying something should not be done regarding dictators, im saying that you should know your enemy better) and his analysis shows that as much as we want to blame one singular person for this, when the entire system is rotten, it effects everybody.

According to CIA files Sadam had at least 30 lookalikes that were always in circulation in his daily life routines. Nobody actually know anything about him. I’ve seen a program years ago about him. Some CIA official stated that he was the most difficult person to murder!
Probably this doctor was the plastic surgeon to make look alike.
Aaa yes, we believe the CIA and whatever America says...
@@manofsorrow4785 I do believe the not really intelligent agency...huhu 😙

People shouldn’t lead a country for more than 10 years, it isn’t good for them mentally. It’s too much, they burn out. Democracies don’t do it, we swap leaders for a new person full of energy . There’s plenty of people in a country who can lead it , why stick with the same old worn out guy?

I tend to understand the Dr when he asserted that a leader of Iraq will become like Saddam. Let's look at the oil wealth in ME and ask if democratic systems are even possible? Greed is inevitable and could turn the humblest person into a ruthless leader to gain respect and favor from those demanding investors. It is a business and it will be protected at any cost.
