Hiking Arizona's Buckskin Gulch (February 5, 2024) America's Longest Slot Canyon

Our last major hike on our Southwest adventure was in Buckskin Bulch to experience a bit of America's longest slot canyon. It was an amazing adventure and a pretty easy hike with only one higher drop/climb that did not have a ladder. We had tried to get permits for the Wave but could not get recreation.gov to work for that. We were able to get permits to hike Buckskin Gulch ($6) with no issues. If you are in the Southwest Utah / Northern Utah area, put this hike on your list. Just beware that the road to the trailhead is dirt/clay and can be bad if there has been rain. We had no issues getting there with our Rav 4 rental.
