I was stationed at Clark in the 80's and the place was great then (Walking Street didn't exist then, it was all Fields Ave). Been coming back to AC since 2009 and Walking Street has gone from good to gawd awful between then and now. I went to Pattaya this year for the first time and it's the closest thing I have seen to old AC. My 2024 trip to AC next month will be my last. No sense wasting time and money in AC anymore when Thailand has so much more to offer.
What part of Pattaya do you recommend for first timer? I don't want to make the mistake of going to the expensive area and getting disappointed while others get more bang for buck

I stayed in Central and just walked along the beach road to North and South depending on where I wanted to go and what I wanted to experience. Walking Street was great if you like higher-end go-go's and talent. It's also very busy with tourists. I thought Soi 6 was a hoot, but it can get crazy and the girls in the street get grabby, but that's all part of the fun. Keep your head straight and you shouldn't have a problem. If those two are too wild for ya, go to Treetown, it's a bit more reserved over there, but the talent is on Walking St. and Soi 6 (there are other Soi's as well, but I didn't get to them all). Have fun!!
I'll be in AC soon and its my third trip this year. My barfines in Feb and May were between 4k and 5k, but mostly I had regular / social media girls staying LT for 2 or 3k. For this November trip I've lined up 2 of the regular girls I've met before, plus 3 new girls. I'll still be barhopping with my mates, but wont be paying those silly prices. While there went to the back and went through the connecting door to the Korean restaurant at the Secret Gardens Hotel while he was cooking at his table being very drunk set the place on fire making a small fire at Cosplay and a much larger fire at the Secret Garden Hotel. I have asked alot guys who have gone and they tell me all it's boring and the talent is not as good as Angeles, so I'm hesitant to make the commute to subic Bay since I opted to go to Manila instead for a side trip ( I went to Angeles then Manila and back to Angeles in my month trip, 10d in manila). Never pre-pay. It's a really bad business model. It give the bar-girl the reason to make excuses to leave your room as quickly as possible.

Last time i was told it was 3.5k short time but i went my first time after they had opened a month by that time last December and a chick said 5k short time,i left since i could get long time for that i told her,i just said i would be back.
