I agree about slowing down. I used to try to pack as much as I could into each day. Now that I have slowed down, I get to mindfully choose what I do and who I do it with and what I enjoy. Thank you for making this very long video. I enjoyed every minute!
Hi, Tomo! I am 10 minutes into your video and wanted to let you know that your set-up for recording videos is my preferred method for videos on guitar pedals on UA-cam. It is simple and something others can easily recreate. Ultimately, I watch your videos to hear you play, hear the effect of the pedal or pedals, and to hear what you have to say. I don't watch your videos expecting multiple camera angles or an insane amount of video editing with transitions or green screens I did not even know existed. I can see why some may object to your camera and microphone set-up but you are very good, Sir, at recording quality videos. Instead of worrying about your video set-up as a critical viewer, I'd rather hear the pedal, save money for when Sabbadius makes more, and practice my guitar. There are no complaints on any of your video set-ups from me. No, Sir! Thank you for your videos!
So nice to hear! I use this camera (pre-set) and two microphones (set volume setting lowest) and just place them I think it's good. All I do is press ON and OFF. No editing so it's so pure! I spend more time thinking about the titles than making this video! Thank you so much!!
Hahaa! You had them both on and said this sounds really close to the original :D That's puts sabbadius immediately closer to the real deal also pricewise :) Cool video, thanks!!
The Vox SE Tone Lab, the one with two pedals. I got tired of all the pedals, mini cords and batteries. The great thing about the instruction manual is it teaches you about the signal chain. You gain an understanding of signal modification. How things work, why they work, and why they're called what they're called. A history lesson. Thank you twice Tomo
Came for a product demo - well done - but was so impressed by how you show how the effect inspires your playing! Beautiful stuff! Not just for Hendrix covers!
Thanks man, I found this to be very helpful. Your setup is great! The '69 is not as distorted in the preamp section, thus making it sound more musical/ex[ressive when you played it over the '68 Version. That is what I heard. I went with the '69! Thanks & Rock On!🤘🎸🌵
I don’t think I can decide which is better, both sound great. The funky playing sounded really great on both. I might lean a little bit to 69 model there. Slowing down is good advice, just don’t stop, we need your UA-cam and Guitar Wisdom videos! Thanks for posting
Thank you so much Mister for your lessons, I love all your videos! I knew you because of the tatsuro Yamashita videos and learnt so much. Greetings from Spain!
You play very good riffs with just chords. Not many guitarist are able to do that. Very impressive. I like the 68 version. It sounded more mellow although both are great. Your camera set up is perfect with the 2 microphones. I would like to see some more of you having fun just jamming your own style!! You are an extremely talented artist that makes playing guitar look effortless!
When its time to get the funk out on a Sunday morning, I can count on Tomo Fujita 🙏 Enjoyed the demo, liking what I'm hearing from those pedals Thank you, sir 🙏
@@TomoFujitaMusic - I always thought Hendrix was a funkier version of blues, so it seems a natural progression from his style into funk and jazz. And really, its hard to be in a bad mood playing or listening to funk 😊
I love the sound of that guitar! I think I like the ‘69 version better because, like you said I think the signal comes through more clear. Also, to answer the question about your setup, I think it’s perfect the way it is! Less is more a lot of the time
At first I really liked the 69 over the 68... But when you dropped the intensity and speed, that 68 sounds SO good! Hats off to both for doing their thing, hard to choose but I'd have to go with the 69.... That brightness sounds really nice.

Great setup man very easy to hear the difference. Second one seemed brighter, and maybe a little drive to it. But the first one sounded calm an maybe with a wider wobble to the sound. I actually preferred the first one it was pleasant sounding.
