I've been listening to the Gaithers for 25 years
May 9th, 2024, SC, loving God, Jesus & The Holy Spirit: I will see all of my family in Heaven--hope that includes all of you who listen to this great music. Isn't Heaven going to be AMAZING with all these great singers worshipping together!?
Now why on earth do Churches not have this kind of gospel?? I used to play the piano/organ at a church in Southeastern Michigan and this was one of the hymns i suggested for a sunday morning meet/greet and ya should have seen how happy and lively the congregation became as the song progressed. This like so many other wonderful gospel songs seem to have been buried in the back of churches along with singing and harmonizing with the piano/organ/bass/drums. We have sadly stepped away from the great time testes gospel songs and have gone to a digitized CD music style that still chews me up inside. I love and miss this kind of fellowship more and more each day.
I'm with you phil....I have thought the same thing for years now and it just ain't the complete church without this beautiful music. I really miss it.

Our daughter was terminally ill - and she knew it. In the days leading up to her home-going she had us play this song repeatedly, all day long. This memory makes me tear up, still, but it is a sacred one.

These folks have been through a lot so when they meet in this fashion they all can testify of the goodness of God whenever I listen to this song I feel like I'm there with them heaven bless there souls.
