Yeah, but bassists never really get the love they deserve. They (and the drummer) are only the backbone of the band and hold the whole thing together. The drummer clearly had fans who came out for him. Let's have the bassist absolutely nailed his part and bring a few friends out for him and maybe show some Showmanship and he will get some Applause as well
That drummer is sick. Although it looks like he steps on the gas there for a minute and leaves the rest of the guys behind. Great job guys! From a fellow TRF'r
It felt fast to me, so I looked up the song. On the MP album, the song is 4:26 long. These kids laid it down in 4:30. That is unbelievably close to tempo. But it still felt fast. Well done. These guys are pushing 30 now, hopefully they are still playing and enjoying their instruments. There was a really solid band in my high school, they covered a lot of Rush. One night there was a party on the next street over, I heard Tom Sawyer coming through loud and clear, so I sat on our front porch and listened. I thought they were just playing the album at the party. I found out afterward it was that band. Those guys were unreal.
That drummer got a pretty serious drum kit going on there. Now this is what I'm talking about. A drummer who knows that rock is about power. Most guys who play it just go through the song without pitting the power it deserves. For the most part tue fils were accurate but ith his personal touch which is always good. Great job. Wish he had done serum solo right before the guitar solo. Woulda been epic
jesus christ this school doesn’t deserve this much talent holy molly they are all great musicians and i can tell just by the song they picked that they are passionate
Would love to see where these kids are now. This was pretty impressive. Not a song for the faint of heart to attempt to cover, but you did more than an admirable job.
All of the band was good as a guitar player in a rush cover band I can say this was good on all part I bet half of y’all saying they did bad couldn’t play one lick of this song
When came out, found that song more repetitive than other Rush instrumentals. Turned out to be one if not the most covered instrumental of all. Even (and mostly!) by younger generations!!! Yeah! Great cover guys!
Lmao I would totally be the dude near the camera screening “WOOooOooOoo!!!!!” The whole time! Incredible cover, and for a kinda lame crowd. Amazing job all three of you tho!
Yo bro, It's Seth, PSN? haha, holy shit, you Play a DW? Fuck, I've got a Mapex Saturn, but DW's are sick! This is some sick shit, keep it up. If I ever manage to get my band mates to learn this, I'll put up a cover.
Holy sh!tballz !!! They sounded lots like Rush. The drummer had the fills on point and led the song like he should. The guitarist was ffing awesome and the tone and speed perfect. The bassist was the weak link. The tone not muscular enough and did not lock the groove down with the drummer, the attack was not punchy like Geddy.
Knew the drummer was serious when I saw the drum set.
Nobody cheers for the bassist:
My heart:💔
If he actually successfully played any one of the three solos he may have gotten applause
Maybe not though
Bassist needs to work on it a bit more. He messed up a number of times.

one of the better covers I've seen. the drummer is fucking on point
For some high school kids to attempt a song like that is daunting and to take the time even try it is amazing ...great job
Drummer steals the show
That drummer is amazing ... Perfect !
That drummer is sick. Although it looks like he steps on the gas there for a minute and leaves the rest of the guys behind. Great job guys! From a fellow TRF'r

true but probably woulda taken too long for a talent show
Drummer was good but the bass and guitar was equally awesome. Great job 👍🏼.

Drummer playing a dw kit like Peart did..that is dedication!
When came out, found that song more repetitive than other Rush instrumentals. Turned out to be one if not the most covered instrumental of all. Even (and mostly!) by younger generations!!! Yeah! Great cover guys!
Excellent cover! All three good fellows!

KeeP coming back to this bid. The drummer is simply amazing. Love the originality in his fills
its always great when the drummer steals the show.
That drummer can probably play anything. Lot of talent there.
The drummer is going to be a star

Knew this drummer has rich parents when I saw his drum kit. Kid is good as hell though.
The drummer is a beast
Holy fuck that cover was spot on.
Awesome!!!
Drummer is completely on point. just wow
That drummer is god
Lmao I would totally be the dude near the camera screening “WOOooOooOoo!!!!!” The whole time! Incredible cover, and for a kinda lame crowd. Amazing job all three of you tho!

Do they still perform together? I would love to see where they are now
You guys nailed it!

the drummer is nuts
"Yeah, but can they do 'La Villa Strangiato'?" ;-)
Kinda like how the guitarist pulled when it’s climbing the scales in the guitar solo
Very Nice! ! ! ! !

Bassist messed up the intro.
