Motorsailer S/Y Nina, Nauticat 38 nasty weather single handed sailing

This video was taken in June 2024, and is from taking our beloved 1980 Nauticat 38 from our home port to Bodø for our two-year haul out, about 40-some nautical miles. Not much on the agenda this time, some new anti fouling, new anodes, polish the hull and adjust prop pitch a little.
In very common northern Norwegian fashion, the weather was very unreliable and ranged from flat calm and sunny to gale force winds and plenty of rain.
I did this trip single handed this time, which is not difficult on this boat. She is pretty well set up for easy sailing, but I ran into a challenge when mooring half way there. Which I learned valuable things from and will be better prepared for next time 🙂👍
