8.08kg w/o pedals? My Epic HT (non-Sworks) weighs 7.96kg or 17.5lbs with pedals & bottle cages. Or course I used much lighter components like 1120g Extralite wheelset, lighter seatpost, stem, bars, saddle + XTR 11 speed mechanical drivetrain w/ e Thirteen XCX cranks

Since the weight weenies still measure without pedals which means it's not a usable bike anymore, why not just measure the weight of the frame and call it a day, because you cannot ride that either without a full setup...

Wrong usage of torque spanner! You have to hold the torque spanner exactly at the handle otherwise the torque isn't correct!
