Hi Karin, thanks for taking us along on your unboxing of some very nice orchids. I’m really impressed with the excellent way these plants were packed and I’m sure you must be too. I look forward to the next video of your repotting etc. cheers…
Thank's Renate! Somebody really put a lot of effort in making it right! That's very appersuated 😀 I'm so happy to have the phragmipediums I've now got in my Orchid collection cannot think of any other phrag I desire now. Thank's for watching 🤝
Hej, I wouldn't have any nerves for these small seedlings.I have a vanda roeblingeana, 2 years to FS, and when I see this minis I'm speechless. Would be afraid even to touch them 😉 Third heatwave is finally over... after more than 3 weeks... and with a massive drop in temps. My orchids (inside) and me suffered a lot. The orchids outside in the back yard had the best life. I hope they can manage the extrem weather change. Many regards!
Hi there! 🙏🤝 so you got the cooler weather now? Extremely strange summer this year... we had a rain flood today..watee pouring into the whole basement floor,, at work today due to heavy floofing rain.. so I went to the huge supermarket next door and they were also having trouble with leaking water so they put up axwarning sign: watch out for the wet floor area', incredible!
Yes really addictive,, before my new order even arrives I've already starting looking at my nextvsoon to come order. I haven't counted them for quite some time but I thinkover 300 by now, mind the cabinet which hold a few, and on top of the cabinet, and outside..and..sell you see my point 🙃🙃
Thank you for your encouragement! 🙏🙏 last month hype, this month low rating I guess I'll continue,, I found a great way on growing my channel with shorts video but many if my viewers doesn't like them so now status q 😁😁
I placed an order from Ecuagenera yesterday, mostly miniature orchids-they have some great cool growing mini dendrobiums. I have ordered anthuriums and philodendrons from them before and was super happy with what I got, especially for the price. Lovely haul you have there, I wish I had space for phrags as I think they are divine. Thanks for another fun video!
Thank you! 🥰🙏 And I wish that I could grow cooler dendrobiums, or actually the whole genera dendrobium even better, tomorrow we're going to the orchid show, former Röllke used to attend there as well as Karge etc, not this year though but still soooo exciting!!!
Hi Karin, the Phrags are very nice, but watch the one with the yellow leaf! Not that it turns black... Well most of the Babies are very small, I would say let the smallest grow on in flask, but the liquid medium is everywhere might be a problem. The Paphs are big enough to deflask. Nice order! 😊👍 Greets from Germany! 😊🌺
Yes, so I did... this video is actually from june.. but I thought I would upload it earlier but a nice thing I think is to do the repotting and add on the update immediately! The leaf fortunately hasnt turned black, instead it dropped rrcently, the rosenglantz is the lowest in quality of the 3 I got. I've read that it likes it cooler but well,, I'd say more humid 😄
@@KarinsOrchids no not yet, I did only order new plants. I had one mislabeled in the previous order. Got it replaced with no problem. And so I thought let’s order a few more extra plants 😂
Thank you for the tip! I can only order from ecuagenera eu for the time beeing but I shall definately check it out 💗 ...and now I did, she looks just like my wössner supergrande
I got in touch with them for that. Apparently, the bark supplier did not make it through the pandemic and with the wildfires, European bark is very very expensive nowadays.
@@MattbyNature That is really sad to hear. I’m sorry for the loss for their family. 😞 I was expecting that the wildfires would have an impact and it seems so. Although, me missing certain type of bark isn’t so big of a deal compared to the situation there has been.
@@KarinsOrchids size V is the number for the size of the bark. Amazingly big! You’ll see that in my today’s video during my repotting. :) my vandas and big Catts love it!
Nice haul, some babies and some grown ups, lot of cradles required for the babies.Big challenge.
Hi there! Yes I know, but still they all survived! I had to repot them into some more drainage though. I will show you the update on them very soon. 😃

I just bought 7 from them. Mostly Cattelya. Im west of Seattle. They ship to Florida once a week then by ups to my home about a week later
Aha! Nice, the eu section didn't have so many cattleyas but instead a whole lot of phragmipediums! Good luck with your new catts! 😀
It seems they have given up selling in better variety their bark. I’m missing the size V. 😢
