Yeah I'm in NJ and added all the motorcycle requirements headlight turn signals mirrors working running and break lights. Not sure how to go about the dmv title and registration stuff. Ct200u-ex are on an approved manufacturer motorcycle list but have no NHTSA rating or sticker since the manufacturer certificate of origin is an off-highway record document. I think you need to title and register it as a motorcycle after you meet your own states requirements on lights horn and such
Finally! I was hoping you would do a video of getting a mini street legal. I been wanting to do this myself.

@@Rccar928 a friend of mine did, he couldnt get the state to say it was street legal, Kentucky, but that was 5 years ago
Great video! The only problem (for me) that I see is, with the rear brake lights... you can’t use the rear rack because it will block the lights.
Agreed. Brake light should went to the back of the rack. So if you use the rack, it can still be seen.

Don’t need to paint the faded fender. Take a small torch used for plumbing and move in across the fender and it will release the oils in the dye in the plastic and it will look brand new.
A heat gun is safer for this application, but the same idea
Wouldn't the rear light be better under the back rack at the far rear so you can use the rack?
Sean Signer there probably going to end up changing it. I thought of that to. How are they going to use the rear rack
Might have to be a certain height to be legal...

Louisiana I had to get mine inspection from state police to get title

I've been haulin ass in the woods with the old mini baja mb165 and that has been a great little bike.
I smoke Quads on the trails all day long.
After 10 years that bike is finally nearing the end of its lifespan. It has a strong tough built frame to it. People are always amazed how well that little thing performed.
The natural next step forward as far as mini bikes go would be this new MB200. Rear suspension, storage space and higher speeds, I think the mini Baja has met its cooler younger brother.
I'm going to be getting an actual dirt bike next, but when I head back to mini bikes, my first choice will be this trail master if something better hasn't come along by than.

I've had my Trailmaster for a year and love it! i decided to keep the stock fenders and tank but added a metal shield on the frame behind front wheel and one up back in front of rear wheel..it does a good job of stopping dirt off engine..i want that headlight..the stock one sux..

great video I did the same thing with my Baja warrior 200 in Tennessee and I got it registered as a moped

I got my Trailmaster from GoPowerSports a few months ago and it is awesome! Definitely switch out the rear shocks with some from GPS, it rides so much better after that. Looking forward to seeing what you guys do to yours!

I just bought one for my son and don’t have any clue how to rewire the headlight. He wanted the same headlight as you so if you could please show a step by step process for the wiring that would be much appreciated. Thank you

Yeah we got to get you a tan Greg.. maybe some spray on tan. We can get all industrial about it. Put it in a pump up lawn and garden sprayer. You strip off and have Beca to spray you down good with a couple of coats. I know she would be in on this idea .

Hey if you take a torch from Walmart and flame over that finder it will go back to the right color it looks like the pigment is coming out of the plastic it will look fine after u flame it

CarsAndCameras made a performance trailmaster with the stage 4 kit and bigger shocks and 4 Led's. I prefer theirs

You can get a kit. It is way easier. Just about all the work is done.
Just an idea you might consider having 2 sets of tires an wheels ones off-road (the ones on it) then another set that's a more on road tire that's more balanced and have the wheels balanced. With smaller rear sprocket
How much do you think this build costed In total? Also do you think you would ever turn the coleman ct200 Ex street legal?

I have the two things that u guys hate and it's a 80cc predetor on a monster Moto frame and I did a high speed test of a whopping 34mph and so if I change my rear sprocket u think I could go about 40 something I don't want it too fast yet it for my 11yr old oh and I have a 212 on a monster moto frame too

If you run a heat gun over the plastic fender it will bring the color back out to new
I LEARNED THAT A HEAT GUN WILL BRING BACK THE FADED PLASTIC AND RESTORE IT-JUST AN FYI -GOOD WORK MEN !
You can restore the faded plastic on that fender quite easily!
I get what you physically need to add to the bike to make it street legal.
But, how did you manage to do the paper work at the DMV?? Insurance, or registering a bike with no vin or proper make / model. I don't get that part

I was just curious in the state of Tennessee do you have to have a 50cc scooter plated it and insurance North Carolina Made It that way 2 years ago maybe 5 years ago don't quote me on that I was just curious about Tennessee by the way I love your show and I do watch it often keep up the good work

If you wet sand the faded fender with 800 grit and work your way to around 2000 grit then hit it with a heat gun, just till the surface glazes, it will look pretty dang close to new if your on a budget, hard to beat $20 for a new one though, the new one is likely Chinese remake and not as quality though.
Love the video guy but I have a concern with the tail light being behind the luggage rack. If you have any type of luggage it will obstruct the tail light.
This is hilarious timing, we actually are working on getting my buddies mini moto street legalized here as the guinea pig. DOT tires are the biggest headache but i guess the 10 inch wheel GPS offers for them opens up options, havent had the chance to look to much into those wheel/tire combos yet. Let me know if you guys know of DOT tires on either the stock rim or those 10's ;)
We picked up 3 minis between our group and hes got everything lined up for his fully built predator swap in my garage and i gotta get a plate made to mount my old gokart racing Briggs flathead on this weekend hopefully and we be ready for the meet and races here local...

I live in west tn between Jackson and Memphis. What all did you have to do and did you have to get tags. I’d love to make mine street legal and start riding it to work.
You should see the headlight on my bike. 2005 sherco 4.5i dirtbike and the headlight is so bad I tried riding at night ONCE and I was putting around in 1st cause I couldn't see but 2 feet in front of me.

Im trying to decide between a coleman BT200X, and the trailmaster MB200. it is a difference of $300. Ideally I would like to have the option of making street legal with whatever I go with. I please advise, would like some opinions, thanks
RBG question if I mill the head of a 212cc will that affect the push rods as in can I still stick with the same push rods?
You would need to get shorter push rods

I think you should take a heat gun and bend the back portion of the front fender around the tire a little bit. Give er more curve

I looked at his watch when je started on the new light , putting clips in an was 4:40 cam back 7:45 on his watch 😂, why not just change the bulb , hell its no good if it's off and won't be legal ☺️

Just put the front fender In hydrogen peroxide in a plastic container and put aluminum foil around the outside of the container ( it will reflect uv light) and put uv lights above container. It will look brand new
