When David is not running an advertising and marketing company, his hobby is The Bond Experience which is primarily a video blog where he discusses Bond experiences and the people and brands that help to create those experiences...

David has been a speaker at Johns Hopkin, Hofstra University, and Columbia as a Bond Experience expert. His collection is one of the largest in the USA and represents one of the most complete as it pertains to lifestyle collectibles. Invited to cover Tom Ford, Omega, Heineken, and Coke partnership events, David has represented a social media experiences for many years. In addition David has provided props and decor for Johns Hopkin Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace Premieres as well as the Devereaux Foundation 007 Fundraiser.

Great work David, CR is (by the number of times I watch it either at home or away on business) my favorite Bond movie. That's how you should rate your movies I believe. I also appreciate you turning me onto Indy so many years ago, I am a frequent customer and will remain that way. Thanks for helping us live our Bond lifestyle day to day.

I still have my 2007 Sunspel polo.. I wear mine often as well. Love it.. It has aged nicely and is still wearable.

To tell you the truth, in reality it´s about the man, not about the clothes. From my experience the right man can wear a potato sack and will still be the King. One half of the people will not even realize that he wears a potato sack, because of the man he is, the other half will say, he is so cool, I should wear a potato sack too.
sofortwo i would agree with you to an extent. That said, some just feel "better" in nice, well fitting clothes. I know that I do. But overall, you are right; the man makes the man, the clothing just complements what is already there.
The thing about Bond is that he is the man and the clothes combined. Clothes can take someone up a notch or two but at the end of the day people need to realize that Bond is also fit, tall (not Craig but generally), handsome, and suave.
If you are fat, unattractive, and trying to emulate a Bond style then you are going to fall flat on your face.
TriforceRich you are right on that. I was applying that bit of logic to most "normal" people in general who try to emulate bond, not bond himself. In the real world, mannerisms and attitude are the most important aspects of how one attempts to look, not the clothes. That said, as you alluded to, Bond accomplishes both things, and effortlessly so.
I think Bond is a great inspiration for clothing, how to act, how to think, etc...but to try to emulate all his details is kind of counterproductive. A real life Bond would never try to emulate 100% how another person dresses - particularly not if that person is fictional.

I live not far from Nottingham where Sunspel are based, but it's a pity they are outsourcing production, regardless of the end product, you're kinda paying a premium for the company's heritage aswell as the quality, and while they are not ridiculous TF prices, £85 for a polo shirt now made in Turkey is a bit too far. However, thumbs up to Sunspel for keeping it classy and plain, nicely fitted too. Great video David, "soft glass" and all...
