Thank you for this thorough video. While I am not considering these particular sunglasses at this time, I am fascinated by the whole new concept of wearables technology. So far my only wearable is an Apple Watch, but there are so many new things that wearable glasses will bring to the table in the very near future. I am looking forward to having a pair of glasses on, seeing someone and have the glasses quietly report to me what their name is (If I know them). I would like to say though that Torx screwdrivers are readily available even in the small size that are on these glasses. Torx screws are designed to be more “grippy“ than Phillips or flathead screws and they work very well. Not a lot of money to buy those two sizes or even a set at Home Depot or on Amazon. That being said, you’ve convinced me that right now is a time to wait for that killer feature that smart glasses will bring in the very near future. I appreciate your review. An example of why these have been great for me though…. I am a professional pet sitter. A lot of pet parents request videos or photos of there pets… it is so much easier for me when walking a dog, playing fetch, or “kitty” fishing, to be able to snap a photo or video then trying to always have my phone in my hand ✋ 😅. Also the thinner sides the ray-bans have are big for me because I have a thin face… the fat sides (over the ear especially) where very uncomfortable for me in other smart sunglasses products.
For me, I'll just stick to regular sunglasses, or transition lens glasses. I do appreciate the time & effort you (Dr. Eye Health) took to make this video!!
As a content creator, I was really considering purchasing these as prescription glasses and another way to grab footage. Your extensive review effectively talked me out of the purchase. There are so many things in this video that I had not considered. I appreciate the time you took to do this.

Had mine for almost a year and i can say I love them. The pictures and vids come out looking very nice imo. No its not a whole camera or smart phone so we shouldnt think of it having the same capabilities being so small. The bluetooth is ok, i just dont really use it(id rather my headphones for immersion). Cant compare it to bose or any other audio glasses because its not meant solely for listening to music. Theyve updated it to 1 minute videos instead of 30 secs which is nice. The only thing I dont like about it is having to download the app to download the pic and vids. Some phones and device cant even download the app. Also the fact its not waterproof and when downloading your files from the glasses if theres alot it will heat up and say it wont finish until the glasses cool down.

HI Dr Allen! As a working optician, the "deal breaker" for me, on these Smart Glasses is the fit and how hard and risky they are to adjust. Not too many people would notice and appreciate this... Even-though you put hours into creating and editing your videos, I personally love that you left your "brain fart moments" in the video. Those little things shows how genuine and self-confident you are, which is one subtle reasons why 684K of us love watching your in-depth and thorough content!
As someone who has short-term memory loss i use these EVERYDAY and use the app to make a small 30 second montage there have improved my daily life because nost of my memory videos i record at night time which is just a balck screen and me talking. Thanks to these glasses most of my journals bow have a 30 second mintage to go with it, The only think i disgree woth is how your said i coudl just grab out my phone there have been huge advantages with these and the recording capabilities. But yes the qauilty is MEH

There are endless youtube video hating on these glasses. Casey Neistate said it was unusable. I get there are issues, not a perfect product, but I have to say it fits perfectly in my life, after 8 months, i still use it everyday, i switched out the lens for prescription transition lenses, and use them indoor and outdoor everyday. Day to day, the camera comes in handy when i need to record items in stores, or something interesting that suddenly happens in front of me in the city, its so much faster then pulling out a phone. Great action cam to document my bike rides, standup paddle (use at your own risk) motorcycle rides ( love the option to have a low volume speaker listening to music while completely hearing traffic while i drive, can record hands free with Facebook turn on video/photo. Its just a perfect camera for my day to day doco of my life, yes quality is not amazing but on the phone when viewing or even sharing on SM its plenty good. I am using them so much, already planning to buy a second one for backup.
I find them great for my bike rides, mainly because I can listen to music and still hear the cars. Plus if I need to record an accident or a driver doing something unsafe I can. But sadly the aspect ratio of the camera is not something I would want to use for dedicated youtube videos. I do like them, but the price is a bit steep for what I get. perhaps if they also acted like a fitbit...then maybe the value would be higher??? Either way though, cant wait till AR tech comes out.
I love these sunglasses. It is ideal to take pictures and videos when I am skiing or walking. I used it when I thought an unsavoury character was following me.
The fact that you can't change out the lenses is the biggest deal breaker for me, I wear prescription glasses and I have a pair of prescription Oakley sunglasses, I've had the same Oakley frames for many years, whenever my prescription changes I just get that new one changed in my Oakleys. To pay that much money for some sunglasses and not be able to change the lenses is a waste of money.
I changed mine, prescription transitional lenses. Yes they tell you its at your own risk, and may have damage when they try to installed, but my optician had no issues.
Maybe I'm missing something but it seems the brands he compared this to are audio only glasses. Wouldn't it make more sense to compare to photo/video glasses like Snap?
I am 100% legally blind in both eyes. I've always preferred Ray-Ban because of the darkness of their standard tint and the quality. I want these for safety and security but I don't want to give up the quality. I know I would personally spend upwards of $500 for a pair of these if they had the same quality as a regular pair of Ray-Bans. Also the video length needs to be opened up. If I am being mugged I want the recording as long as possible. Any ideas about the next version?
Hey Doc, I'm an Optician and have in my optical the tool to tighten those temple screws. Other frame companies use the same type of screws in their design also, so it's a must have. Just tighten the top, then the bottom independently.

Dr. Allen, just wondering if you can review Ronnie O'Sullivan's Rokit Glasses in future. There are only approx 140 of them out there but it'd be so interesting to know more about what they're like considering that they're endorsed by the World's Top Snooker Player and all.
I think the ability to take hands free photos and videos in the myriad of situations where it’s difficult or impossible to use your phone, that is the best use case for them. As headphones, they are a last ditch option, but the hands-free video aspect is what they are selling. And for that, it sounds like they do the job.
I love my Bose Tempos. It sounds like I’m at an IMAX theater when I watch media and the music is exceptional. No camera, but I don’t think I really need it with my phone.
I did adjusted Bose sunglasses for my friend before, only bending the temple tip for better grip at back of the ears. But the material of the sunglasses don't soften enough for me to adjust after heated, and I really think it will form back to it's original shape afterwards.
We had the star pattern screw for another brand that uses those screws but the brand provided the screw drivers . Our lab had a full set due to different glasses. I only adjust the nose bridge cover the lenses with a cloth to protect them but yes it’s hard for people to accept the fit. One of our ODs had a pair that she could write and send Email from
Not definitely worth it but I like the novelty of them. The tech isn't too advanced but it's snazzy and fun to use sporadically. I have a pair of prescription sunglasses from Roka that I use when I just want a great pair of sunglasses so I don't really rely on these for more frequent use. I would suggest people wait on for AR features in these or other smart frames, bc that'll really be make it worth it. That is unless they just have the funds to use without worry, then go ahead. They work as advertised and while a bit cumbersome it's fun

Love your honest review on these glasses. As a former Luxottica employee, I may sound a bit biased, but I speak from personal experience and can attest that the company is pretty shady. Luxottica will try to sell ice to an Eskimo and that’s how employees are trained and molded. My honest advice is to seek a trustworthy ophthalmology or optometrist to give you the best advice. Thanks for the video. I just received my Ray Ban Stories yesterday. I purchased them because they are smart glasses and in order to take pics and record video hands free to post to Instagram. I did not get the sunglasses because I plan to take pics and video indoors and I don't like seeing people wear sunglasses indoors.
Great vid, I'll def share this with my opticians. You made some really great points not many have taken into consideration. I personally am not the biggest fan of them.
For now I think these types of glasses fill more of a novelty roll. The James Bond or Austin Powers if you will. Due to the fact that they cannot be primed for adjustments or have maintenance done for prescriptions, it just feels more like a toy than a functional tool that is necessity for those with sight impairments. If you need a hands free camera, go pro has had that covered for a long time and blue tooth headphones/earbuds are outstanding for quality of sound now. It's one of those products that will sell to those that want it but it won't be a average market staple until the technology fits a role that allows longevity through lens replacements and is a little more ergonomically sound.
I don't believe I said anywhere they cannot be fitted for a prescription. I said they can't be adjusted or have maintenance done like if your prescription changes you need to get a new pair.
If thick border, square-ish bluelight/sunglasses with a hidden camera/mic exist out there, I'd buy it in an instant These "Ray Ban" glasses are so ugly, I'd be embarrassed to even wear them. Especially if I wanna record anything without suspicion
You said that if your prescription changes, you can't change the lenses. I bought mine as sunglasses and took them in for bi-focal lenses. They were supposed to be Transitions but they forgot that part. So they sent them back and had another set installed. Other than that, they suck. When I bought them I didn't realize that they were a product from Mark Suckaturd or that the required app was only available for iPhones. So I had to get a new phone. Then I found out about the 30 to 60 second time limit. I wanted them for POV of my craft projects. As if that weren't enough, they take video in a new format (HEIC) that my computer cannot read. So if I want to use my glasses, I have to buy a new computer. Probably also has to be Apple.
Could you do a video about these cool glasses that change tint. Its called Dusk by Ampere. They look so cool, and would help with migraines that I get. But what I want to know is can they have a script and if the lense is good quality as well. Thank you 😊
Appreciate the in-depth review on these glasses. A note to add, with the fit of the glasses there’s no accomodating Asian fit for any of them. So if you have a flatter nose with larger cheeks good luck finding a pair of rayban stories that will fit
I own two pair of the extra large classic wayfare one sunglasses and the other for night they fit perfectly on my face I was considering these for the hands free recording and pic taking while driving for accident evidencie and for my security guard job...will compare to body cam i guess...

If you get a new prescription in a few years can't you just replace the lenses.? Or what a out buying the sunglasses regularly and then getting the lenses swapped for prescription later on
Hi doc, what is the best spectacle lenses brand? Hoya Essilor Zeiss or other? What would you recommend for 1.5 cylinder (astigmatism) +0.5 farsightedness and a lot of computer close up work. Best regards :)
That is a very tough question and honestly I am not really experienced enough to say. I have had good success with both Hoya and Essilor lenses. I personally have not tried Zeiss or Shamir lenses myself. (there are many many more too). I think Hoya lenses have impressed me the most (but that may just be because I have had more experience with them since I was in school). Hope that helps.
Doc, This is off the subject sorry I thought maybe you would be able to see this in the current post. Regarding my dry eye … I have just one eye that tears up like crazy only … when I go outside. It could be winter could be summer. I’m thinking if it was allergies it would be both eyes? (I use dry eye drops on the days that I’m going outside.) My eye is never red or sore. Can you help explain this problem & a solution please. Thx
Asymmetric dry eyes or allergies is always interesting. I immediately contemplate if there is an eyelid issue or perhaps a blocked tear duct. Perhaps asking your doctor about that. Have they tested it much?
Hi doc, could you make another video on visual snow. Also i dont know why but when i look at a tv or pc screen up close I see a shimmering light like glare and it changes shape when i move towards or away from the screen

Great review. I'm still getting them though. Need these for work. I cannot have headphones or have my phone out recording anything so these will help me bypass all of that without getting in trouble. I know the sound quality is not on par with standard headphones but its ok with me. Also the price dropped to $199 so this is a perfect opportunity to buy. I am getting the clear lens . Would love prescription lens but i wear contacts anyway.

Yes. And presumably to gain their charge of repair service in future. Apple do the same thing! (Although there is a Right to Repair movement underway now, I think. I wonder did anyone create the same screwdrivers for their products yet.) I was actually charged €1000 for asking them to fix the Mac Book I bought from them, as it was damaged after when it first came out of the box- but they had fobbed the responsibility on to a reseller in the first instance (in Ireland), so it took a long time on the phone (four hours) to get them (the reseller- the shop doesn't look like they're a different company, mind you) to write off the fee.
Not to mention that you have to buy an adapter for the cord to charge the case for the glasses. You would think after spending that much money for the Ray Ban, it would come with everything you would need to properly operate the glasses.

I'm really considering these to replace my current glasses. I haven't bought glasses or changed the lenses / prescription since I got them in 2016. I really don't care about the sound quality, I just want a way to capture moments in my kids life without shoving a camera in their faces and just be in the moment, you know? Can you justify the price tag of getting a pair that probably won't need prescription tweaks for 6 years(given they survive this long) for capturing life moments how you view them and not through a phone? The quality isn't as important as the memories. And I keep hearing the warranty will be void if you try to change them. If they last a while warranty won't be a thing anyway, is it possible to change them if you didn't care about the warranty? Also, something I've never found anywhere. It is said it can now record 60 seconds. Is it 60 seconds, stop, then click again to record another 60, or can you loop it and keep recording 60 second clips until you decide to stop?
I definitely think the look is so much better then a y other smart glasses even the ones with just speakers, so far I think I will be one of the only channels that can get a major benefit from the camera being at eye level, being the kind of channel I have, also hands free recording is great because I constantly have paint or ink on my hands. Then we got the ability to bump music I’m sure it’s not a great quality but if you know your songs you will still enjoy hearing em. As far as privacy I think having a light is already better then any smart phone that does NOT indicate when recording. Definitely the beginning of some interesting things to come. I will for sure be getting the Matte black transitions or matte black and dark grey. But the blues look sick too. Thanks for the honesty friend.
I absolutely love my Rayban Stories Wayfarer ❤️ I had to order the prescription version because I wear them often.. I opted for the clear blue filter lenses..I had ordered the round shaped Stories 1st but felt the ones that are shaped like my normal glasses look like I'm wearing my normal everyday glasses..no regrets on this purchase💯🙂😊❤️

I wanted a view videos on this item and all of them forgot to mention the horrible part about replacing the lens smh but the new smart ray bands come out oct 15 of 2023 and they made some big improvements so lets see! I hope he reviews them.
I’m sure these could be good for niche uses…. But they have all the downsides of flimsy sunglasses….. with all the expenses of a smartphone. “I sat on my glasses- they fell off and broke the camera…” Not something in interested in personally.

Connect to my Apple Watch, so if I have a fall, it goes back and records 30 seconds of video! And I actually am getting a pair - not for the video though - Bose have stopped making Sunglasses, and I use headphone glasses for transition lenses, as I am severely autistic and have both sound sensitivities and touch sensitivities. So I listen to music to block out other sounds, but I can’t have headphones touching my head/ears - Bose Sunnies were a game changer for me! And every pair of wearable Sunnies void the warranty as soon as you put prescription lenses in … 🙃
I'm looking to purchase these since I wanted to restart my vlog from years ago. With all the more to be desired features, I hope Meta and Ray-Bans make software update to allow more customizations for the button press and maybe change recording and picture quality and frame rates to allow more storage. I was an early adopter and have no complaints! Love them. The complaints I hear have more to do with them being a first generation product. They are good and will get better.
Hello i ve purchaded those glasses in a differente model. I have them for a year and loved them. But on the day of today this review need to be redone.THIS GLASSES DON T WORK WITH ANDROID 13. some features might still be ok to use such as picture and video but the audio is mute. Then as you go into shops to ask the sellers don t even know about this disfunctionment. 😢
I bought these on sale in December and was hoping to find someone brave enough to try putting prescription lenses in them for me- despite the warranty. Haven't found anyone that would even try it yet.
Eye size is the best for bigger people or anyone who needs extended fit. The xxl wayfarer has a good temple length and the bridge size is good for “men” with a bigger nose bridge. The eye size is 53 witch in my opinion they could of offered a 54 or 55, just atleast two milliliters more
I got mine for 200- they are cool but the recording time is awful 30 secs or 60 secs. Gonna turn around and buy a 50 bux pair that has unlimited film time. Both will serve a purpose

I mostly disagree, but appreciate you're review! I have a pair of the new wayfarer’s and I walk home from work next to a VERY busy road every day. The sound quality is perfect. I also hate having my AirPods in walking home they can fall out easily with me having to run across the street, I haven't seen a difference in the bass between Bose and the Wayferer. Plus when the update comes out this year or next year the AI can identify the photos you take, and translate languages on Que. I'd get them now… they're worth the money oh yeah when you have a microphone next to your head yeah you can hear the music duh! I have the amber colored sun glasses I wear them all day as a teacher, even inside when I'm at my desk grading I have the music on medium volume, and I have two of my students desk not 2 feet from me and they can't hear a thing.

how many times have you seen something but its gone by the time you get your phone out , but the main reason I would want a pair is security .... a hands free fpv cam while your dialing the police , road rage , accident etc . Also not impeding your hearing like buds to muggings animal attacks cars shouting etc a bit pricy still
I like this smart glass but like you said, I’m still waiting for the 2nd gen. I need that 1080p 16x9 ratio aspect. At least give us 1 minute video each clip. As long as it has Bluetooth connection, I rather use my earbuds. I definitely pay $300 if they can give me what I want.
I imagine teachers notifying students that a test is scheduled for tomorrow and advising them to bring their prescription glasses because she'll be going to pick up smartglasses before to the test.

Its just a perfect camera for my day to day doco of my life, yes quality is not amazing but on the phone when viewing or even sharing on SM its plenty good. I am using them so much, already planning to buy a second one for backup.
I find them great for my bike rides, mainly because I can listen to music and still hear the cars. Plus if I need to record an accident or a driver doing something unsafe I can. But sadly the aspect ratio of the camera is not something I would want to use for dedicated youtube videos. I do like them, but the price is a bit steep for what I get. perhaps if they also acted like a fitbit...then maybe the value would be higher??? Either way though, cant wait till AR tech comes out.
Does the light always turn on while recording or we can chose an option setting to keep the light off?
I love these sunglasses. It is ideal to take pictures and videos when I am skiing or walking. I used it when I thought an unsavoury character was following me.
The fact that you can't change out the lenses is the biggest deal breaker for me, I wear prescription glasses and I have a pair of prescription Oakley sunglasses, I've had the same Oakley frames for many years, whenever my prescription changes I just get that new one changed in my Oakleys. To pay that much money for some sunglasses and not be able to change the lenses is a waste of money.
I changed mine, prescription transitional lenses. Yes they tell you its at your own risk, and may have damage when they try to installed, but my optician had no issues.
I changed out mine for prescription transitions ctra active mirrors

I am 100% legally blind in both eyes. I've always preferred Ray-Ban because of the darkness of their standard tint and the quality. I want these for safety and security but I don't want to give up the quality. I know I would personally spend upwards of $500 for a pair of these if they had the same quality as a regular pair of Ray-Bans. Also the video length needs to be opened up. If I am being mugged I want the recording as long as possible. Any ideas about the next version?
Nothing yet. I know they are working on another version though! Hopefully the recording time and quality both improve.
Hey Doc, I'm an Optician and have in my optical the tool to tighten those temple screws. Other frame companies use the same type of screws in their design also, so it's a must have. Just tighten the top, then the bottom independently.

I think the ability to take hands free photos and videos in the myriad of situations where it’s difficult or impossible to use your phone, that is the best use case for them. As headphones, they are a last ditch option, but the hands-free video aspect is what they are selling. And for that, it sounds like they do the job.
I love my Bose Tempos. It sounds like I’m at an IMAX theater when I watch media and the music is exceptional. No camera, but I don’t think I really need it with my phone.
I did adjusted Bose sunglasses for my friend before, only bending the temple tip for better grip at back of the ears. But the material of the sunglasses don't soften enough for me to adjust after heated, and I really think it will form back to it's original shape afterwards.
We had the star pattern screw for another brand that uses those screws but the brand provided the screw drivers . Our lab had a full set due to different glasses. I only adjust the nose bridge cover the lenses with a cloth to protect them but yes it’s hard for people to accept the fit. One of our ODs had a pair that she could write and send Email from

Not definitely worth it but I like the novelty of them. The tech isn't too advanced but it's snazzy and fun to use sporadically. I have a pair of prescription sunglasses from Roka that I use when I just want a great pair of sunglasses so I don't really rely on these for more frequent use. I would suggest people wait on for AR features in these or other smart frames, bc that'll really be make it worth it. That is unless they just have the funds to use without worry, then go ahead. They work as advertised and while a bit cumbersome it's fun

As a former Luxottica employee, I may sound a bit biased, but I speak from personal experience and can attest that the company is pretty shady. Luxottica will try to sell ice to an Eskimo and that’s how employees are trained and molded.

Thanks for the video. I just received my Ray Ban Stories yesterday. I purchased them because they are smart glasses and in order to take pics and record video hands free to post to Instagram. I did not get the sunglasses because I plan to take pics and video indoors and I don't like seeing people wear sunglasses indoors.

Great vid, I'll def share this with my opticians. You made some really great points not many have taken into consideration. I personally am not the biggest fan of them.
For now I think these types of glasses fill more of a novelty roll. The James Bond or Austin Powers if you will. Due to the fact that they cannot be primed for adjustments or have maintenance done for prescriptions, it just feels more like a toy than a functional tool that is necessity for those with sight impairments. If you need a hands free camera, go pro has had that covered for a long time and blue tooth headphones/earbuds are outstanding for quality of sound now. It's one of those products that will sell to those that want it but it won't be a average market staple until the technology fits a role that allows longevity through lens replacements and is a little more ergonomically sound.

I don't believe I said anywhere they cannot be fitted for a prescription. I said they can't be adjusted or have maintenance done like if your prescription changes you need to get a new pair.

You said that if your prescription changes, you can't change the lenses. I bought mine as sunglasses and took them in for bi-focal lenses. They were supposed to be Transitions but they forgot that part. So they sent them back and had another set installed. Other than that, they suck. When I bought them I didn't realize that they were a product from Mark Suckaturd or that the required app was only available for iPhones. So I had to get a new phone. Then I found out about the 30 to 60 second time limit. I wanted them for POV of my craft projects. As if that weren't enough, they take video in a new format (HEIC) that my computer cannot read. So if I want to use my glasses, I have to buy a new computer. Probably also has to be Apple.

Just a detail: it's not necessary to have 2 screwdrivers to tighten the hinge. One is enough (I've done it myself)

Appreciate the in-depth review on these glasses. A note to add, with the fit of the glasses there’s no accomodating Asian fit for any of them. So if you have a flatter nose with larger cheeks good luck finding a pair of rayban stories that will fit

Hi doc, what is the best spectacle lenses brand? Hoya Essilor Zeiss or other? What would you recommend for 1.5 cylinder (astigmatism) +0.5 farsightedness and a lot of computer close up work. Best regards :)
That is a very tough question and honestly I am not really experienced enough to say. I have had good success with both Hoya and Essilor lenses. I personally have not tried Zeiss or Shamir lenses myself. (there are many many more too). I think Hoya lenses have impressed me the most (but that may just be because I have had more experience with them since I was in school). Hope that helps.
Doc, This is off the subject sorry I thought maybe you would be able to see this in the current post. Regarding my dry eye … I have just one eye that tears up like crazy only … when I go outside. It could be winter could be summer. I’m thinking if it was allergies it would be both eyes? (I use dry eye drops on the days that I’m going outside.)

Asymmetric dry eyes or allergies is always interesting. I immediately contemplate if there is an eyelid issue or perhaps a blocked tear duct. Perhaps asking your doctor about that. Have they tested it much?

Yes. And presumably to gain their charge of repair service in future. Apple do the same thing! (Although there is a Right to Repair movement underway now, I think. I wonder did anyone create the same screwdrivers for their products yet.) I was actually charged €1000 for asking them to fix the Mac Book I bought from them, as it was damaged after when it first came out of the box- but they had fobbed the responsibility on to a reseller in the first instance (in Ireland), so it took a long time on the phone (four hours) to get them (the reseller- the shop doesn't look like they're a different company, mind you) to write off the fee.
Not to mention that you have to buy an adapter for the cord to charge the case for the glasses. You would think after spending that much money for the Ray Ban, it would come with everything you would need to properly operate the glasses.

Can you justify the price tag of getting a pair that probably won't need prescription tweaks for 6 years(given they survive this long) for capturing life moments how you view them and not through a phone? The quality isn't as important as the memories.
And I keep hearing the warranty will be void if you try to change them. If they last a while warranty won't be a thing anyway, is it possible to change them if you didn't care about the warranty?
Also, something I've never found anywhere. It is said it can now record 60 seconds. Is it 60 seconds, stop, then click again to record another 60, or can you loop it and keep recording 60 second clips until you decide to stop?

I definitely think the look is so much better then a y other smart glasses even the ones with just speakers, so far I think I will be one of the only channels that can get a major benefit from the camera being at eye level, being the kind of channel I have, also hands free recording is great because I constantly have paint or ink on my hands. Then we got the ability to bump music I’m sure it’s not a great quality but if you know your songs you will still enjoy hearing em. As far as privacy I think having a light is already better then any smart phone that does NOT indicate when recording. Definitely the beginning of some interesting things to come. I will for sure be getting the Matte black transitions or matte black and dark grey. But the blues look sick too. Thanks for the honesty friend.
I absolutely love my Rayban Stories Wayfarer ❤️ I had to order the prescription version because I wear them often.. I opted for the clear blue filter lenses..I had ordered the round shaped Stories 1st but felt the ones that are shaped like my normal glasses look like I'm wearing my normal everyday glasses..no regrets on this purchase💯🙂😊❤️

Connect to my Apple Watch, so if I have a fall, it goes back and records 30 seconds of video! And I actually am getting a pair - not for the video though - Bose have stopped making Sunglasses, and I use headphone glasses for transition lenses, as I am severely autistic and have both sound sensitivities and touch sensitivities. So I listen to music to block out other sounds, but I can’t have headphones touching my head/ears - Bose Sunnies were a game changer for me! And every pair of wearable Sunnies void the warranty as soon as you put prescription lenses in … 🙃
I'm looking to purchase these since I wanted to restart my vlog from years ago. With all the more to be desired features, I hope Meta and Ray-Bans make software update to allow more customizations for the button press and maybe change recording and picture quality and frame rates to allow more storage.

I was an early adopter and have no complaints! Love them. The complaints I hear have more to do with them being a first generation product. They are good and will get better.

Hello i ve purchaded those glasses in a differente model. I have them for a year and loved them. But on the day of today this review need to be redone.THIS GLASSES DON T WORK WITH ANDROID 13. some features might still be ok to use such as picture and video but the audio is mute. Then as you go into shops to ask the sellers don t even know about this disfunctionment. 😢

Eye size is the best for bigger people or anyone who needs extended fit. The xxl wayfarer has a good temple length and the bridge size is good for “men” with a bigger nose bridge. The eye size is 53 witch in my opinion they could of offered a 54 or 55, just atleast two milliliters more
I got mine for 200- they are cool but the recording time is awful 30 secs or 60 secs. Gonna turn around and buy a 50 bux pair that has unlimited film time. Both will serve a purpose
the problem with the bose audio glasses, is I went through two pairs, both broke exactly the same way within a month.

I mostly disagree, but appreciate you're review! I have a pair of the new wayfarer’s and I walk home from work next to a VERY busy road every day. The sound quality is perfect. I also hate having my AirPods in walking home they can fall out easily with me having to run across the street, I haven't seen a difference in the bass between Bose and the Wayferer. Plus when the update comes out this year or next year the AI can identify the photos you take, and translate languages on Que. I'd get them now… they're worth the money oh yeah when you have a microphone next to your head yeah you can hear the music duh! I have the amber colored sun glasses I wear them all day as a teacher, even inside when I'm at my desk grading I have the music on medium volume, and I have two of my students desk not 2 feet from me and they can't hear a thing.

how many times have you seen something but its gone by the time you get your phone out , but the main reason I would want a pair is security .... a hands free fpv cam while your dialing the police , road rage , accident etc . Also not impeding your hearing like buds to muggings animal attacks cars shouting etc a bit pricy still

I like this smart glass but like you said, I’m still waiting for the 2nd gen. I need that 1080p 16x9 ratio aspect. At least give us 1 minute video each clip. As long as it has Bluetooth connection, I rather use my earbuds. I definitely pay $300 if they can give me what I want.

I thought everybody had a torx screwdriver set at home. You can pick one up for really cheap, like $10 or something like that. Not really an issue.
