You wouldn't need this out in the wide open, just back a standard flatbed up alligned with the disabled car. But this would come in handy in the city where there are many obstacles including other parked cars.
Even out in the rural areas like where I live, this is a must have. The roads here are mostly narrow 2 lane roads where you would have to work off the side of a conventional rollback. Besides, I have parked in the emergency lane, turned the bed 90 degrees and loaded vehicles from the shoulder without any traffic lane closure at all. The law enforcement agencies are very happy with that.

If you want to have the car properly loaded there is ya could have taken the 2 minutes to yank the front end around and get the car all the way on the deck

This truck isn't something you see every day very neat looking and rare to see one of these here in the uk most of the time it's a fixed rollback or a rotator even those are rare to see I like the US to trucks the ones in the uk are kinda pathetic you guys have the cool toys lol uk roads to small for trucks like this tho stay safe guys
Thanks! We recently had the opportunity to own one of these rotator rollbacks. We were needing a new rollback and Dynamic Manufacturing needed a dealer who works a lot of wrecks to show how these trucks simplify wreck recoveries. I wish that I could have owned this a couple of decades ago! I'm thankful that I get to operate this truck daily.

This truck has handled every job I have given it. I have even loaded a forklift and rotated it. As with any equipment, it must be serviced. We have found an easy way to get the turntable greased without the mess of getting grease on yourself. All in all, I operate this truck daily and it does a good job.

Might as well just get a medium duty wrecker for the price that thing would be... I can only imagine what kind of fortune that costs. Or just a regular rollback or wrecker, both could do that recovery, the rotating bed definitely makes that particular recovery easier and faster but for what I can imagine the price being it just wouldn't be worth it.
Like any towing equipment that rotates, it does cost more. There's just so much that goes into the design in order for it to work correctly. However, time is money. I look at the fact that I can charge for one hour on a wreck. If I have a truck that speeds up the recovery time, especially to cut the time down substantially, it's worth the cost. It's also a safety issue for the reason that the longer you are out on the side of the road, the greater chance of danger you face. It's impossible to put a price on an operator's life. Honestly, cost is the reason for not seeing more of these. The rotator bed adds about $30,000.00 to the price. However, the fact that this speeds up recoveries means that the operator is off the road and out of danger faster. The faster recoveries also helps to run more calls in a given time.

The cluster bridal would've worked the same and it would've kept the car straight when winching not like you had it pulling to one side since the bed rotates
Dynamic Manufacturing owns the patent on this. It would be illegal to copy the design. This bed is designed so that it handles weight very well. I'm very satisfied with this rotator rollback!
Actually, that's incorrect in this situation. The bed was raised and shifted to show that you can adjust quickly and not by the same methods used with a conventional rollback. I do this regularly and have no issues with doing it.
Why the hell didn't he just use the cluster bridal the car would have rolled over and the job would have been done faster and he wouldn't risk any more damage to the car customers get pissy when something is broken that they know wasn't broken
This is a demonstration video of the truck's capabilities. The underside of the car is in standing water, so I didn't want to tie to it there when I didn't need to. It makes no difference in the speed of the recovery when you are operating one of these rollbacks. The bed can always swing to align it with the vehicle. The 1/2" grade 100 chain/oblong combo with a foundry hook is rated several times more capacity than the v bridle that you are suggesting. I recommend these to anyone who gets into tough jobs. These will hold up when a J hook fails. Thank you for your comment.
Yeah I agree the bridle wouldn’t be the right call there but that foundry hook is a tad overkill for a car but they are the cats ass I use em on heavy duty but I’d rather have a chain be the failing component rather than my wire rope
I have never had a bridal fail I'm just saying with a bridal it would have been a straighter pill. Also it was good the wheels were cut to the right it showed the angle of the bed or it would have focused more on that point
Seems like junk, good idea but that deck flops around too much. Owners would be replacing bushings all the time with how many idiot operators there are now a days. I’m also assuming it adds weight to the GSVW & reduces the trucks pulling & load capacity with how many more failure points it has and the extra weight

Usually the rollbacks get tweaked because somebody did a side or angle pull with the bed out of the locks. This definitely takes care of that.
Probably like using a excavator pivot assembly valve there strong enough to rotate the entire machine and transfer fluids

Yes. I wish that I had a picture of the bed locks to show you. It self aligns and the locks are better than any other brands that we've owned.

Just cuz it hasn’t doesn’t mean it can but again it would be better for your rigging to fail than the rope in that pull
All that using a piece of hardware that exceeds the wll of your rope by 3x does is makes the rope the weak link that fails if something does
