This is the single most useful assembly video for the EP-2 PRO. Every detail the proud new bike owner needs It's better than the video from Engwe! The front wheel assembly is particularly useful - my bike was missing one of those locking washers, and without your video, I'd have never known - so thank you for that!

Best video for the Engwe. Pro-2 . The instructions are perfect. Take your time look at all reference points on the bike he shows you. I got pissed about the front light fender but I got it. The rack was awesome but I did say a few four letter words trying to get “trunk rack” on. But this is an excellent instruction video. I read books that say for Real Dummies but with just a few forgive me’s and I’m sorry for the curse words. I did it. Beautiful. So happy You guys saved me 80.00 bucks please a forgive me honey I’ll take you Buccies next weekend. Thank again fantastic help
Vincent, the front fender was tricky but doable, but that back rack install sucked big time. Glad you got it attached - we almost gave up. Most of the other bikes we reviewed came with the rack installed (Thank God). Enjoy Buccies!

Awesome bike. I bought one a few weeks ago. Easy to assemble and riding this beast is soooo much fun. The only thing I could criticize is the front head light which is piss poor but I have purchased another led light problem solved.

I'm sorry if it was mentioned in the video and I missed it, but how does one go about folding the bike down, and which tools do I need for doing that? I need to pickup my vehicle from the mechanic, and I'm just unsure of how to fold the bike - as well as if the bike would fit in a Toyota Corolla or similar sedan back seat

I disagree with their 1 hour estimate. It took me about 5 hours because some bolts were tightened too much, some didn't fit any of the tools they provided, the back rack must have been warped because lining the screws up with the holes was next to impossible. The instructions were pretty basic (a couple short sentences and no diagrams.) It was way harder than it should have been.
Ooooh that back rack is miserable for everyone. It's doable, but will require some patience the first time you do it. TBH I'm still not sure they're in the right holes.
Some more questions... Any idea how many miles on throttle only this gets you? I'm hoping to figure it out via a distance tracker app like Strava(?). I'm a heavier rider, but I also don't necessarily trust the specs given by the manufacturer. Also wondering if you've done any accessory modifications to the bike - like milk crate for storage, side mirrors, some kind of supplementary clip on rechargeable wide-beam flashlights from Aliexpress, etc...

I just got my Engwe Engine Pro (the upgrade model with regen and rear suspension) 2 days ago...I bought it despite it's illegal in most part of Europe, where you can not pass 250W and 25 km/h....
Update to my issue. I recieved damaged bikes and tried to dispute with my bank. It failed so they sent the funds back. Contacted engwe support again and the offered a better discount for the damage bikes but was asked to close the case. I verified it was closed on may 11th. I informed support twice an today I was informed they didn't have the fund and wanted the bikes back. I once again contacted my bank and was told they had the fund and saw the transfer. Right now I'm stuck on what I can do. If I send the bikes back I still will owe the 1899.99. This has been a nightmare and I feel like I'm being scammed. The only thing I can tell people who consider this bike and company, don't buy it. This has been the worst customer experience I have ever had. #boycott engwe.

And the friend was surprised I would order it when she had never suggested she wanted anything but the pedal bike she had. She has now ridden the bike two times and gives it a 10 and says it is very fun. We have some hills in our town that are very challenging to climb on a typical bike. But tonight she went up with the pedal assist and loved it. I was way behind on my standard bike, huffing and puffing. Now she is no longer lagging behind me. This thing is powerful enough that a person could go around town without any pedaling. She likes to get some exercise so on flat ground she hits the red button to turn off pedal assist and only uses the twist throttle when she's in a tough spot. The bike looks good. It is really a very nice bike for the friend. Now for me, when I get an electric bike, I'm twice her size and will be looking for a bigger watt motor and battery. But this one is just wonderful for my friend. I am happy with this purchase.

Honestly, trial and error for us. Contact Engwe support - I think they now have a document for this.
I had the same problem. I had to bend the iron a bit so I could assemble the rack.
To be honest I gave up and just zip tied the brake lights to the the frame rather than damage the frame and chain trying to fit it on. But thanks.

Yes it is adjustable with a quick release lever.

Had a slight issue with the derailleur being bent during shipping, but that was an easy fix.

I haven't tried a typical boot. But - folded down, with the handlebars and pedals folded down also, I think it will make it!
I am a women 5 foot 5 tall, is it suitable on this bike you promoted , as some handlebars on e bikes are too tall and not adjustable.

Technically this motor is illegal in the UK. We heard the police will actually seize illegal bikes! You may need a less powerful electric bike.

really depends on terrain, incline, weight, ambient temperature, tire inflation... too many variables to nail down specifically
