Ingredients
* 4 medium to large potatoes Yukon Gold or Russet potatoes are best, approximately 1 pound
* 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1/2 teaspoon pepper
* 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
* 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika optional
Instructions
* Wash and dry the potatoes well.
* Peel the potatoes.
* Cut the potatoes into small square pieces (about 3/4 inch thick) and add to a mixing bowl.
* Preheat your air fryer to 200 degrees celsius (400 degree Fahreinheit) while you get everything else ready.
* Add the olive oil, salt, pepper, and seasonings then toss very well to coat.
* Add the potatoes to the air fryer. Avoid overcrowding them and place them in the air fryer in a single layer. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may have to cook the potatoes in two batches to avoid overcrowding.
* Air fry for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking.
* Serve immediately when the potatoes are fork tender, crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside.
