He never got to hear the new albums because they pushed the release date again. After that I stopped listening to rap. They don’t care about the fans. Who cares, playboi carti and lil uzi fell off. These dudes played hard to get and kept meeting our hype with subpar and sometimes down right mediocre music. I think if playboi carti and lil uzi kept working, evolving, producing instead of trying to ride their fans to stay afloat things would be different. Years of playing cat and mouse with their fans finally catching up to them. Playboi Carti and Lil Uzi got left behind in 2016. Im especially disappointed in Lil Uzi, he seemed to be an innovator but this man just riding himself at this point. Not doing anything good at all, the pink tape is the epitome of his laziness. He got comfortable riding his reputation and now it’s caught up to him. The culture is stagnant. We lost so much talent and all we are left with are these kids with face tats that have no love or respect for the culture or for music. All they want is fame and money but they fail to realize once people get bored and move on, all that crumbles out from under them.
