That's a long way to skid for what you have. You're better off with a set of wagon gears and using that as a forwarder loading it with your skid steer. Logs will stay cleaner and you will make your wood collection much more proficient.
Hey Jim, A log arch could definitely be nice in some situations. However due to the distance between the woods and the mill, I try to leave logs in as large of sections as possible so I make fewer trips. The capacity that the arch would need to have would be HUGE! Josh

Pull the logs frok thr small end. It don’t tear the ground up hardly at all
