- Cold-Start & pure exhaust SOUND footage of the all-new BMW X3 M Competition! We not only did Launch Control 0-100 & 0-200 but also tested the 100-200 km/h pull through using our GPS-Box in our other video. This Competition version delivers 510 hp & 600 Nm of torque through 8-speed & 4WD (total weight: 2045 kg) and runs on 21 inch wheels. What are your thoughts? That S58 engine sounds so much better than the S55, impressive!

S58 doesn't sound the same at all.
It sounds much better than the S55 (apart from S55 with equal length midpipe). S58 sounds more melodic and less like a 4 cylinder.
S55 with single midpipe is overrated. Doesn't have a nice, melodic inline 6 sound at all.

Bei den meisten Opf Amgs hört man vom weiten nur noch den Reifen und bei dem Wagen noch den Motor 😊
Liegt auch einfach am dumpferen Ton der Opf AMGs. Hellere Sounds hört man gefühlt immer weiter.

Still stunned that Audi did not take advantage with their A4 facelift and include an RS4 'performance'. 450 usually....give it another 100 hp and 100nm torque and they would be unstoppable

@@trihardcx6743 They hold off on making better versions of the smaller cars because it would outweigh the "better" models. It's why the car industry is shit these days... plus the regulations are strangling manufacturers with stupid stuff like dpf/opf, soft limiters and the likes. Like the dieselgate issue, all politics and money, nothing to do with making cars safer as the difference in the real world is negligible.
@@dodo19923 Well you can't really blame them for that. Why spend hundreds of millions developing a car, just to have it kill the sales of a different model in the lineup? They could easily give the C63 600 hp and 4Matic+, but that would render the E63 almost pointless.
Australian/American non PPF sounds so much better! This sounds quite subdued!

@@E38Bimmer35 same price? a 440hp porsche macan 2020 goes for around 90k… USED, and i can find an x3 M competition for 60k, also 2020 year model, so the bmw is alot cheaper for what it is, i would pick bmw

The missing pops and bangs make it really cool and different from the retarded farting the others have. Sounds like a real BMW not a shitshow.

Ich bin echt überrascht vom Klang 😂 Der erinnert mich zum Teil sogar an die alten 6-Zylinder vom E36 (nur, dass e36 höher dreht). Hätte nie gedacht, dass die aus dem Motor so einen Klang rausholen.

Normale Fahrt circa 11.5-12.5...Autobahn ab 160 km/h und auch mal schneller dann geht der Schnitt schnell Richtung 13.5

Der Sound ist jetzt nicht schlecht,reisst einen aber auch nicht komplett vom Hocker ganz ehrlich gesagt.Es fehlt das Knallen beim hochschalten und das Missfire beim Gas wegnehmen.Naja,ist wahrscheinlich bei den heutigen Lärmvorschriften und dem OPF nicht mehr so leicht umzusetzen.
Pre Dator ich bin froh ist diese kindische geballer geschichte.

Finde dem Kunden sollte man so was überlassen, hole ich mir einen M beispielsweise sollte ich im Konfigurator die Möglichkeit haben mit Fehlzündung oder nicht, so kann sich keiner beschweren. Ich persönlich finde einen turbo geladen Motor beim runter schalten ohne Schubblubbern bisschen langweilig, bei einem Sauger brauche ich so was zum Beispiel nicht, da reicht der reine Klang
The problem with this engine is that the connecting rods are not forged and they come from the f90 M5 and they are not all that strong... so to me the isn’t forged connecting rods are a weak point in an engine
glc 63 amg , jaguar f pace svr , stelvio q4 , audi rsq3 , jeep trackhawk way before that 6 cylinder sound

Schöner sound, aber ich persönlich vermisse den blechigen/hohen und schreienden Sound vom m3 E46 z.b. Der Sound war einfach einzigartig und mit nix anderem zu vergleichen.
Die neuen müssen halt alle einen OPF drin haben...

Glaube hat eher mit Lärmbelästigung zu tun, den aktuellen M5 beispielsweise gab und gibt es nur mit OPF und der Ballert wie kein zweiter
