jr ali was challenging old people in fights while he was at his peak age, the rematches was too show if he wanted to participate in their world of fighting that he would always be subjected to fighting even if he was injured or old

@@jasmeharsingh152 You are right they weren't taking Ali seriously to begin with, but everyone complains about Ali being injured when they think Ali got them good when it's just not the case. I don't recall too well but I think he had to be humbled by Jack Hamna
@@anthonykamenov1210Doppo seemed to take it seriously near the end, but still lost, maybe the second time he learned from their first fight and came back stronger like all the Baki characters do
And funnily Ali Jr could have just ignored the rematch but his pride wouldn’t let him and he just got even more fucked up
It’s kinda funny how Doppo & Shibukawa got beat fair and square while clearly trying then start jumping a crippled Ali talking about random death matches occurring at anytime but that has almost never happened in anime or manga. The two people fighting almost always agree to fight and even confirm wether it’s to the death or not. Ali was done dirty but then again the author tends to embarrass characters who aren’t the focus of the particular arc (Oliva & Jack in the manga)

@@supremo5209 They just recently just got some shine here and there but there were definitely a couple chapters where they were going out absolutely sad💀, luckily that doesn’t seem to be the case too much anymore

what happened to ali was a complete disaster it feels like the writer sudenly start hating mohamed ali in real life so he decided to destroy all of his plans for him in the manga you see jack was done "dirty" by pickle and its not dirty he simply lost the fight he pretty fought like a madlad and hell he even turned into the fucking jaw titan
also something never happened is seeing a character getting to the zero point what do i mean imagine baki defeate retso after three episodes retso come to baki to fight and destroy him thats a total nonesense (tbh there is people who swim an entire ocean here so not suprised) that thing where every character come to ali and take 'revenge" was stupid like what on earth you knoked the man easily few days ago

This fight, the fight with Shibukawa's, and the fight with Baki just make Al realize how much he still lacks and its kinda sad to see a character made out to be so good destroyed so easily by these guys.

Nah Doppo got his ass whooped and fought a severely injured Ali who started doubting himself. Shibukawa was the one that didn't take his first fight seriously
At first they gave Alai jr those badass wins then suddenly they made him looser by him getting beaten by those same guys

There is in a manga called Baki: doppi gaiden. It's shows what doppo was doing in his you get days he even has a little "chat" with bakis grandfather yuichiro.

Seems to me that most people simply missed the point here.
Its not that Alai Jr is stronger/better than Doppo. He clearly said that he wouldnt be able to beat Alai Jr in Sports. Again: SPORTS!!! But he would be able to in a real fight as initially demonstrated. Doppo was smacking Alai Jr. around.
However the mistake Doppo made was still not taking Alai Jr. serious enough and thinking "Nah, he has no experience in a real fight". Which in itself is true (has been true throughout the season) BUT Doppo wasnt expecting Alai Jr. to shift into Real-Fight-Mode.............lucky shift or not.
Similar with Shibukawa. However Jack takes every fight seriously and doesnt play around and thus, Alai saw stars from start to end.
Later, when a rematch happened between an injured Alai Jr and Doppo/Shibukawa, the point wasnt to "Oh, you are injured? I am gonna use the chance to kick you where the sun dont shine". The point was to show Alai Jr. that, while a very high skilled boxer and potential fighter, he still is way too imature to enter the world Baki and Co are in. Thats also a reason why Alai Sr. himself let his son see stars later on.
Its like in school. Probably all of us got bullied or saw some bully messing around thinking that they are the GOATs and have all the power. But all of them get humbled as soon as somebody puts them in their place and shows them how the real world works. I've seen it happen when i was a kid. I think the idea is very similar here.
And yes, this has been a theme from the start of the season with Alai Jr. thinking he is all that but later on regretting his decisions. He would have been able to enter the Baki World if he were mature enough but he is not.
They did ali jr dirty in baki. For shame creator of baki. Ali jr deserves to be top 5 in this series

Boxing is also much better than those you mentioned. Easier to learn and more effective
