- Sky News host Sharri Markson says new research reveals “voter sentiment is hardening” against Prime Minister Anthony Albanese over his handling of the economic crisis.
“I can exclusively reveal secret polling which shows voters are starting to blame Anthony Albanese personally for the state of the economy,” Ms Markson said.
“The internal research carried out for the Liberal Party suggests Australians are now holding the prime minister accountable for soaring petrol prices, increasing energy bills, the high cost of groceries and crippling mortgage repayments.”

@@lloydsingline340 I actually did. I lived in his electorate for twenty years and never saw him or his team, not even at election time, not even once! All anyone needs to do is hop onto google and have a look at his background to get a bit of an idea of his character.
He fixed the power situation by charging us double for it, and telling us not to use it.
That's not true, power prices were going to go up regardless as this industry was privatised a long time ago. He's done the right thing by giving handouts to reduce the cost of electricity. They can't reverse the price of power, only reduce the price hike. The fix is to upgrade our infrastructure to handle all the solar we have and build batteries. This is a long drawn out process and can't be done quickly. Everything has a cost, if you want free electricity, you'll have to pay for it through your taxes.

If you want it free/discounted, you have to get them to undo the privatisation of the electricity companies and it will cost an arm and a leg in taxes every year.
