And the oxidative damage can be managed by Anti-oxidants.

My theory has always been that she survived the surgery but that she did not wake up from it. Instead she fell into a coma that her doctors didn't think she would wake up from. Which is why the letter was given iń the graveyard but the view was far away. Too far to see any specific gravestone. The parents are making arrangements for her in case she did not come out of the coma.

My best friends son has this. When he was a small child she took him to the doctor because she felt ther was some sort of a neurological problemwith him. He was clumsy and his speech was slurred. They told her he was lazy. Years went by and he got worse. She died of breast cancer not knowing what was wrong with him. Eventually he had a diabetic attack of some sort and went to the hospital and they diagonised him with diabetes then he had a heart problem and a doctor finally recognized that symptoms to be Fredericks Axtaia. Long story after that and he went in a wheelchair and now is in some states of facility. His dad abandoned him at the age of about 19. So I don't know what happened to him. Very sad story. - Lifestyle that helps to fight off free radicals
    - Minerals and supplements to increase the levels of frataxin to support the mitochondria e.g. Calcitriol
Also, what about the use of stem cells? Although I imagine the cells will need to be free of the abnormality in the gene sequence. 🤔

1 month ago I was diagnosed with CANCER in 2020 and I have tried everything I can to cure myself, but all to no avail, until I saw a post in a health forum about a herbalist who prepared herbal medicines to cure all kinds of diseases, including CANCER, at first I doubted if it was real, but decided to give it a try, when I contacted this herbalist through his email and he prepared me a herbal cure for CANCER and sent it to me through the company's service UPS delivery, when I received this herbal cure. , gave me step by step instructions on how to apply it, when I applied it according to the instructions, I was totally cured of this deadly disease within 5 months of use, I am now CANCER free, all thanks to Dr. edosa. you may also need his help.

@@vananhtran4994 What I'm saying is that FA is so devastating that it raises the question of how can it be passed on through generations? There must be a genetic advantage.
Of course not all mutations are harmful, and the occasional fitness increasing mutations drive adaptive evolution. In this issue Orr (2010) points out how some intriguing statements can be made about advantageous mutations beyond the fact that they are usually rare and difficult to observe. They include (i) back mutations that occur if a large enough number of slightly deleterious mutations was previously fixed, possibly at a time when the effective population size was smaller (Charlesworth & Eyre-Walker 2007), (ii) compensatory mutations that at least partially repair some harmful effects at the molecular level (e.g. Burch & Chao 1999; Innan & Stephan 2001; Kern & Kondrashov 2004), (iii) quantitative trait mutations that can either increase or decrease the value of a trait with an impact on fitness (e.g. Keightley & Halligan 2009), (iv) resistance mutations that are part of biological arms races between hosts and parasites (Hamilton et al. 1990), and (v) mutations that enable a species to start expanding into a new ecological niche (e.g. Elena & Lenski 2003; Bergthorsson et al. 2007). The frequencies and DMEs of these groups are probably very different and their prediction and estimation are likely to be fruitful fields for further research.

@@francben1649it’s recessive genes, both my parents are carriers (have one normal gene and a FxN gene of this disease) and they don’t have symptoms if they’re a carrier. i had receiving 2 disease genes from both parents to develop symptoms of FA (becoming FA’er with 25%), 50% the kids are likely the same as the parents who are a carrier of the disease gene. 25% receive both normal genes, not FxN genes and no symptoms of course.

I have FA and this is a really good explanation on like a scientific standpoint. I’ve noticed that a lot of people are hear from your lie in April, and I’ve not seen the show but as far as I know the character with fa dies from it. And I just want it to be understood that fa doesn’t often kill people, although like any disease it can but is pretty rare. Idk I just want people to know that although fa makes life challenging, people like me and my sister and a lot of people with fa survive! 🫶🏻
