Very helpful, thank you for this! I just got a fantastic SY99, in immaculate condition. I’ve purchased a Gotek SD card drive, to replace the Floppy drive, but I might wait to install that (I want to expand the memory at the same time, any recommendations for that?). For now, using sysex is important for me to learn, since I have acquired a few older synths, and I will definitely get a usb floppy reader and learn that process as well - it will be good to experience such a nostalgic technology (I think I was 10 years old the last time I used a floppy disk). I appreciate your videos!
This is so great that there some people loving SY 77 / 99. I love it !!!
I keep my synths in original state and do not upgrate them...I like the old style 😏😏😏 ... I think yet 😏😏😏. Installing any other drive replacing Floppy has obvious benefits....I need to fight sometimes 😏😏😏
