You know you just made me realize how many times Terumi got his ass kicked by his own former body. Maybe that's why he decided he needed to go back into his original form, it was just too damn powerful not to.
I think people like Terumi for the same reasons that a lot of people like Ryuji Yamazaki from KOF/Fatal Fuy. He's ridiculously powerful and one of the eight direct descendants of Orochi (the big bad of the series) and while the other seven want to revive Orochi so he can take over the world, Yamazaki literally only cares about personal gain and uses the powers he gains from being a descendant of Orochi to further himself towards that goal. He also can't be controlled by Orochi like the other descendants can because he's completely insane, so he just does whatever the fuck he wants. He has basically no redeeming qualities and is just 100% wicked, savage, and cruel, and I think when it's done right, completely feral villains like Terumi and Yamazaki can work because they're so detached from humanity that they're actually fucking scary. There's no way to reason with them, there's no sense of good that you can appeal to, no heartstrings to tug on, they'll just fucking kill you because they can and they want to because they're evil.

One of the things about Terumi that I like, that I see nobody bring up is, that Terumi is a paralel to...............Noel (and Kusanagi). The story of Terumi and Noel is that of nature vs nurture. Both are created for a simple goal of the Master unit and both are engines of godlike destruction. But Terumi is still the same being of destruction, that Master unit made him to be (which pisses him off to no end), while Noel got a chance to live as a regular girl. To have a family, friends, crushes, people to care about. And even at her lowest point (Kusanagi) it's her friends that make Noel into her own person, while Terumi stays the same. Also a funny thing is that a "regular person Terumi" is possible, as seen in his and Relius' gag reels (god I love that these are tehnically cannon). So it's kind of tragic, in a way... God I love this game!
This guy was always my favorite Blazblue character, from Hazama's faux professionalism to Terumi's animalistic asshole energy, this guy was always the best villain of the series. Him and Relius's existence makes you even more surprised when a character as BLAND as the Imperitor exists and yet she's the big bad???
actually terumi just wanted to end the god damn time loops happening both ragna and terumi wanted the same thing pretty much but completly different ideals
I love both terumi and hazama as characters and also im totally not a hazama simp 😳 Also both are fucking badass and portrayed as such very well, mf killed god with math and had the voice acting to back it up
I never really knew his lore but now I love him even more. Honestly I wouldn't even call him super evil either since he kind of has to be to exist, not really a choice.
The plot is easy to understand, thanks. Terumi chases bad clout to live so people keep talking about him, but we rebrand his vtuber avatar by giving it to the popular pop idol Jin. This kills there terumi. Also. I'm pretty sure he gets inslaved by a virus because he's the soul of a machine death God. Nine fucking hacks. Hazama needs to try harder. Indeed terumi is without question one of the evilest villain in video game history maybe one of the most evil in fiction( alongside morgoth, frieza, zamasu, palpatine, red skull, darkseid...) and in my opinion the evilest fighting game villain ever made. He is a prime exemple of pure evil and love to hate which is rare nowdays like Dio, the green goblin from NWH and Xykon who are evil but are just so well played and entertaining that it makes them fun when they are on screen Ever better with terumi is that since susanoo is so contrasting to his usual attitude it makes it refreshing while still being the same character deep down I also really like the whole susanoo is terumi revealed because of how much it was in plain sight and it still came out as a suprised (i am a huge blazblue fan and i will call out its flaws and the story but i will give mori credits when he does something well usually the characters) and unlike other series where a evil god is the big bad at the end out of nowhere we always know about terumi not just because he's a god since he had plenty of screentime. There are many antagonist nowdays who are written to be sympathic or have good motives ( giliath osborne from cold steel or emet selch from ff14) but honestly it is really just liberating to have a good old villain plain and simple who steal the show everytime he appears. Blazblue villains are some of the best in modern gaming and one of the series strongest point ( relius is my fav hes pretty much blazblue doctor doom) The series may be dormant for now but mori left us a unforgettable villain in the form of the black susanoo, Yuuki Terumi. Thank you for the video blazblue doesnt get enough attention in my book!
Some two years ago I happened on a Terumi video and damn did I dive into the BlazBlue rabbit hole head first. I guess Terumi was my first BlazBlue the one you never forget.
I like that terumi really is just a sad guy but not like sympathetic sad where you feel bad for him but pathetic sad where you'd make fun of him because how despicable he is. Like he presents himself as this big bad (because it's the only way he can exist) but deep down he just wants spite his creator and all his actions in spite of his creator are him bitching and moaning about this god. He even feels fear, you can see it when he's ripped out of the susanoo unit and hakumen prepares to kill him really lays into how pathetic he really is.
Terumi is the greatest villain because he canonically exists and is immortal solely based on the fact that he’s a huge troll. The more he trolls, the more people hate him, the more he’s observed, the more impossible he is to kill.
I love Terumi, they took the time to make a villain that's fun. Fun to play, and end up giving him f tier mechanics. And I loved it even more. They can suck an "egg" for the lack of English for CF. I was enjoying his English performance way more than I thought I would have.
The funny this is also about Terumi, He's near impossible to kill, matter of fact, there was more lore about Terumi is Dark War that should be read about because well. Confirmed to still be alive thanks to fragments of him still being inside of Hazama.
Sometimes its fun to have characters who are inhumanely evil just for the hell of it. Everyone loves a good backstory behind the bad guys, but a bad guy who does it for shits and gigs never gets old.
If blazblue cut out all the bloat with its story *the villian/hero mechanics and such*, youd be left with a really captivating story. Its thanks to Terumi that makes me put this game over guilty gear as my favorite.
If you have a spoon that has almost the same curvature as an egg (the curve of the spoon shall not be sharper than that of the egg), you can use it to peel boiled eggs pretty efficiently.

I don't know how you can constantly just make me lose my shit laughing. Just that Hakumen bit when you were going into Terumi's backstory had me rolling. My head just imagined Hakumen coming out of nowhere, grabbing Terumi like the hamster/gerbil/rodent videos and after Terumi thrashes about Hakumen tosses him into the Klin like garbage. Watched it like three times before I moved on, then after finishing the video I watched it again. I miss villains that just flat out enjoy being fucking evil as shit. I do like a good sympathtic villain when its done right (though the legions of folks either sayin they can fix him/screech they did nothing wrong or just plan dick ride has driven me up a tree lately) there is just something so much more attractive and fun about a villain that is just that a fucking villain the heroes need to beat the ever loving shit out of. one thing I want to sort of correct. I'm pretty sure the world Blazblue takes place in is Earth. They mention Japan by name as being the first place the Black Beast showed up in, and that they nuked themselves into oblivion to try and destroy the Black Beast

Also because they both wield knives, laugh crazily and stomp on people.
Yamazaki is cooler by a slight margin cause he can chew on bitches.
That and
The pure evil satisfaction of forcing my friend to guess in a match which version of his arm whip I'm about to hit him with on neutral
Go ahead guess
Maybe I have the anti air one to catch your jump in
Maybe I'm gonna whif punish you with the low version
Maybe I'm using the default one while you anxiously try to guess
OR MAYBE
I'm gonna cancel out of it with heavy kick and catch you with the climax 😈
I acknowledge the existance of boiled eggs so terumi exists
Relius and Terumi are easily my favorite Blazblue characters. I love these over the top evil characters.
This is his revenge for not getting any recognition as the drummer in the band.
actually one of my favorite characters in all of fiction
specifically susanoo is absolutely fucking rad as hell
Yo wait my screenshot of you coping made it in, POG
I love both terumi and hazama as characters and also im totally not a hazama simp 😳
Also both are fucking badass and portrayed as such very well, mf killed god with math and had the voice acting to back it up
English dub terumi is a godsend
I never really knew his lore but now I love him even more. Honestly I wouldn't even call him super evil either since he kind of has to be to exist, not really a choice.
The plot is easy to understand, thanks.
Terumi chases bad clout to live so people keep talking about him, but we rebrand his vtuber avatar by giving it to the popular pop idol Jin.
This kills there terumi.
Also. I'm pretty sure he gets inslaved by a virus because he's the soul of a machine death God. Nine fucking hacks.
Hazama needs to try harder. Feel disappointed about your lack of disappointment in your self. Easy.
the thing with hazama is that he can’t feel at all. Like, he doesn’t even feel pain lmao
@@HabitualThinker pain isn't an emotion though. That's a physical sensation.
And if he can't feel period, he can't walk with his eyes shut since he lacks the fundamental ability to sense his position
So the ending of Blazblue is the abused teenager steals everyone's dreams, cancels a mad god, and Jin/Hakumen blows up on TikTok?
@@anders6326 Also waifu Jesus and hes sisters become nuns.
peeling boiled eggs is kinda therapeutic
Very True
Terumi is my favorite character all around from his lore to his moveset to his voice actor. I LOVE IT ALL!!!!!!
So this guy regained counciousness and only wanted to live but everyone was like 'NOPE' and he just retaliated as a a result? Poor dude would give him a hug
Indeed terumi is without question one of the evilest villain in video game history maybe one of the most evil in fiction( alongside morgoth, frieza, zamasu, palpatine, red skull, darkseid...) and in my opinion the evilest fighting game villain ever made.
He is a prime exemple of pure evil and love to hate which is rare nowdays like Dio, the green goblin from NWH and Xykon who are evil but are just so well played and entertaining that it makes them fun when they are on screen
Ever better with terumi is that since susanoo is so contrasting to his usual attitude it makes it refreshing while still being the same character deep down
I also really like the whole susanoo is terumi revealed because of how much it was in plain sight and it still came out as a suprised (i am a huge blazblue fan and i will call out its flaws and the story but i will give mori credits when he does something well usually the characters) and unlike other series where a evil god is the big bad at the end out of nowhere we always know about terumi not just because he's a god since he had plenty of screentime.
There are many antagonist nowdays who are written to be sympathic or have good motives ( giliath osborne from cold steel or emet selch from ff14) but honestly it is really just liberating to have a good old villain plain and simple who steal the show everytime he appears.
Blazblue villains are some of the best in modern gaming and one of the series strongest point ( relius is my fav hes pretty much blazblue doctor doom)
The series may be dormant for now but mori left us a unforgettable villain in the form of the black susanoo, Yuuki Terumi.
Thank you for the video blazblue doesnt get enough attention in my book!
terumi is one of the most fun characters to play in any fighting game fr
Some two years ago I happened on a Terumi video and damn did I dive into the BlazBlue rabbit hole head first. I guess Terumi was my first BlazBlue the one you never forget.
man these videos are reliably good!
Funny laughed
fax tbh
"Boiled eggs is delicious when cooked properly"
- Hazama.....proberly
I love Terumi, they took the time to make a villain that's fun. Fun to play, and end up giving him f tier mechanics. And I loved it even more. They can suck an "egg" for the lack of English for CF. I was enjoying his English performance way more than I thought I would have.
Perfect video to enjoy some boiled eggs to 🤤
Awesomesac lore hits hard, you separated garanex and just started trolling
The funny this is also about Terumi,
He's near impossible to kill, matter of fact, there was more lore about Terumi is Dark War that should be read about because well.
Confirmed to still be alive thanks to fragments of him still being inside of Hazama.
I like soft boiled eggs for that sweet sweet nectar of life
dope stuff my guy
🕴🏻🕴🏻🕴🏻🕴🏻🕴🏻🕴🏻I also love the smooth vicious criminal Terumi🕴🏻🕴🏻🕴🏻🕴🏻🕴🏻🕴🏻
The Man who carried this series.
The definition of: "
You need people like to point your fucking fingers and say that's the bad guy!"
Went ahead and subbed as the content is pretty good. I don't know too much about BB lore, but this was nice! Also witch girls do hit different.
My eggs are boiled now that I know of the sheer awesomeness of Yuki Terumi
Sometimes its fun to have characters who are inhumanely evil just for the hell of it. Everyone loves a good backstory behind the bad guys, but a bad guy who does it for shits and gigs never gets old.
Eating boiled eggs without munching is a good trait for good snake
Real
Man this video is almost as good as the boiled eggs I had this morning. Nothing quite hits the spot like 'em
Thanks for covering the blazblue character that I for some reason find really relatable!
I like that the funny white guy with the sword’s name is just Naoki Hashimoto sining
Funny thing is I started Loving Terumi in Continuum shift when he Debuted He's one of my favorites in Blazblue💚💚💚💚💚
This made me buy Hakumen’s theme.
I rate this video a counter super spam out of 10.
Terumi was the true enemy of the world and the cause of all suffering in the series
True
@@BeatriceRenhart hell yeah people called Ragna a villain even bang who hated the NOL but Terumi caused way more harm and truly deserved the title of enemy of the world
I don't know how you can constantly just make me lose my shit laughing.
Also boiling eggs is gross as shit and I still find that gag reel hilarious because its one of the few times in Blazblu that Hazama/Terumi just gets straight up humiliated.

Susanoo: You're not dodging this overhead

*Guitar Kabong noises*
As a kid playing Blazblue, I never realised that Hazama's design had snake like aspects until I watched the anime and saw him swallow boiled eggs like a snake 😂 Blazblue clearly had too much subtlety for my feeble child brain 😳
Dude managed to outwit the Master Unit. With Math. And bragged about it!
I need no other reason to love the madlad.
I was told by the content maker to comment something about Boiled Eggs, so here we go. "something about Boiled Eggs." There, I have done what was asked.
cool man. I've been always interested in BB but never really spent the time with it, although i bought 3 of the games. I finally started the story in BB:CF but haven't gotten far. So getting this story bit is really enjoyable. and especially the way you did it. lots of lols. GJ man.
7:24 *BLOCK THIS OVERHEAD* INTENSIFIES
Okay, joking aside I main the mean green three, glad to see a cohesive lore overview with humor in it as well. I need to go back to labbing combos to get the legendary 7k Terumi combo, the Hazama air combos, and Susanoo's touch of death.
nice video. laughed everytime with the hakumen song xD
"Oooh ouch, that looks pretty painful~ Does it hurt~? Huh Raggy? You gonna die~? You gonna BITE THE BIG ONE~?! Heeey~ You gonna die Raggy?" - Hazama/Terumi after cutting off Ragna's arm
I liked blazblue as a kid mostly because of the setting… which I now know is called blazblue world XD
Ameterasu didn't creat Susan btw he is just the brain of the system no one knows who created them
Terumi angers me for the sole reason that he killed the only part of platinum=the=trinity that i don't hate with my whole being.
Aurostella's Boiled Eggs CMV series is what got me into playing hazama, and he's seriously my favorite fighting game character of all time now. Do haz next.
this was awesome XD blazblue lore is so surreal and amusing
I love that scene in the anime where Hazama eats whole boiled eggs like he's a snake.
Very cute!
2:55 since you asked, the only scene in visual media where I found someone cracking a boiled egg is in CN The Amazing Spiderman, when Norman Osborn roll a boiled egg on his desk to crack the shell and then get the pellicle off at once as if it was a snake changing skin. You're the one who asked for, so take care of read this stuff.
one thing I want to sort of correct. I'm pretty sure the world Blazblue takes place in is Earth. They mention Japan by name as being the first place the Black Beast showed up in, and that they nuked themselves into oblivion to try and destroy the Black Beast
according to the Wiki, no. but im pretty sure its a different timeline from earth but similar due to the fact they use allot of Japanese and Chinese Culture. but i dont thinks its actually earth
I wish I could make as many boiled eggs as my mother can
Hazama is my favourite out of all of them. His smile is just very beautiful in my eyes. And his obsession with boiled eggs is hilarious. X,D Something he shared with Kazuma... :,(
1:20 HAKUKEN THE HYPE TRAIN
the “blazblue world” is just Earth
okay but the persona music lmao
Hazama is superior
Joker Cosplayer grooms child into becoming an anime protagonist so he can reclaim his Ben 10 themed Barney costume from that child’s brother complexed brother’s alternative self who is going through his power rangers phase. All so he can stop God from writing a incest fanfic full of serious weeb shit.
"And he jumped...gah-" perfect encapsulation
I love eating eggs. Beit Scrambled, Boiled, or any other preparation.
Terumi is my favourite evil characters, I love this guy because he’s just straight up evil!
Boiled Eggs are just wild!
if you didn't understand the observation thing, just think of terumi as a character from Rise of the guardians
I haven't thought of that movie in so long
@@BeatriceRenhart it just popped in my head while i was hearing your explanation
Boiled Eggs, The Certified and Official Meal of the Hater.
very good Edit very funni NGL
Nice video. Now I'm going to play bbcf
So heres what I heard
Guilty gear: yeah theres a lot here but a lot is sectioned off so you dont need to know all of it to get a particular character
Blazblue: haha multiverse machine go brr
Allot of Gear Characters are pretty isolated, Like most have a connection to sol but rarely to more that 4 other characters.
Blazblue has almost the entire Cast Interact With Eachother and have them each have their personal opinions about eachother.
Tbh Blazblue i think is my Favorite Series rn Cause of how much character is in that game
NO WAY 5 MONTHS AGO?!
i love how you talk about Terumi more specifically! XD this is so goood . Damn Hazama actually jumped .that's news for meee. I stopped lurking into the story after BBCPEX anddd even i knew BBCF got released. All i know is that ,Terumi got fucked up so bad LMAO. it's rare for me to see Hazama jumped
after i finished the video. I tried to expand my knowledge about why Hazama jumped lmao and possibilities of him being alive. There's like a chance of 50% or 30% for me that he's alive ..
7:48
>goober
instantly subbed.
One day i went to the beach with my gf's family and they made us a dish with boiled eggs
he's literally joker
The best why you should care. It says a lot about our society. Not too fond of boiled eggs but they make for good snacks
This says allot about society
Aw shit he jumped
1:15
No, blazblue takes place in a distant future of earth.
It's his voice lines for me. BAKA!! While he's stomping the life out of you lol
These blazeblue lore vids are break my sanity a little by little
i love yuuki he is best boi
