I just ordered the rally raid level two suspension and handlebars thanks to you! I'm looking forward to installing them and hitting the roads/trails.

Wow! That’s a big purchase! It’s very expensive, but really transformed the bike. If you’ve already come to terms with the money, your gonna love what it does to your little machine. And for me personally the stock handlebars were so uncomfortable. Very exciting prepping for a trip!!!

Awesome video thanks, the Mitas e-07 are an awesome tire for what your doing, cheaper than the tkc80

Yeah I’ve had them recommended and taken a look at them before. In Latin America, with a few exceptions, you generally gotta take whatever’s available. I may test them out in the future. Cheers!

Hey, there should be an Amazon link in the video (the one you commented on) description to the one I’m currently using. You can use that to buy it, or for an idea as to what I have or search for another listing. That one is more robust than my first one. However if your not doing anything crazy on the bike and it’s not gonna take a lot of abuse the first one that I used had much more adjustability and worked about 30% better. It just finally gave out after about 50,000km, multiple drops and being kept outside for months at a time. There is a link for that one in my video on windscreens (you’d have to look on my channel, it’s one of my first videos). Still travelling in the bike and not pulling the computer out for. Week or so 😬

Glad to see you travel in good company. The windscreen stickers suggests that you're in Belize, is that correct? Must be beautiful!

Yeah I was in Belize, I’m a little bit past there now and just a bit behind in uploading my vids. I also never took off the windscreen insurance sticker

Ah, it’s because I had already made a video going over the things I did to make it ADV or off-road worthy, I left a couple of things out. But you can check that one out if your interested 😉

A friend of mine uses a sheep skin on his V-Strom and I also noticed you had one too so I bought one a few weeks ago from Ikea. It really does make such a difference for longer rides but ugly AF!
For soft panniers, I have Nelson Rigg SE-3050s which are completely waterproof and very reasonably priced.
For tires, I'm running the Dunlop Trailmax Missions which have been excellent for both on and off road adventures, can't recommend them enough, except that the rear tire is pretty much impossible to spoon on with hand tools.

It’s unreal what the sheepskin does for comfort. Single best thing I added. Sometimes off road I wish for the soft panniers, but the security and easy remove of the hard come in handy. And they have taken a good few downs in stride without breaking (yet…). I actually tried to get the Trailmax a few times, always been unavailable 😢. More than a few people have recommended them, and they’d sure last longer than these TKCs, which I have been able to get

@@kenshapperttravelstheworld8845 I overpaid a bit for the Trailmax Missions when GPBikes had them in stock, but I'm glad I did - as you said, they're hard to find in stock anywhere. Fantastic for my needs, they still look like new. Apparently they aren't great in mud, but I don't really enjoy slogging through mud anyways!

@alanosborne1888 Do you use the Nelson Riggs with a side pannier rack? Or did you mount them rackless? Thanks a lot!

@@alozborne Did you include a link? UA-cam seems to dislike that sometimes. Anyways, I can't see your reply sadly
