First Salmon Of The Season And It Was A Good One!

Highlights of a fight with an Irish spring salmon caught in May 2024. The hardest salmon is always the first of the season but it is great to have the pressure off! The fish was weighed in the net and was just under 10.5lb. The springer took took a small size 12 Bann special, fished on the dropper...leaving the point fly dangling which was fun!
