Good work there Paul. Must admit I've been there myself too. One car I had, had so much contamination I actually had to use fallout remover as a lube for my clay mitt! I mean this wasn't dots of purple, it was SHEETS of it! Turns out the car had spent 3 months locked in a compound next to an forge or smelting factory or something. 3 litres of fallout remover and 3 clay mitts later and I'm pretty sure I had enough iron to make my own bloody sculpture! 😂
Ever had a white car where the person drove on worn out brake pads for many months and turned the whole side of the car (and the poor wheel!) rust colored from grinding the brake rotor down? I haven't, but it looks like hell to clean up...
I had a white 67 fiesta. My first new car. Very proud of it. Never heard of fallout. Began cleaning it one day and noticed all these rust speckles. Took it to back to the dealer bodyshop where I was taught all about this stuff. I now have a Dessert awesome blue fiesta hahaha
After all that I’m hoping the good neighbor dropped off a 12 pack of the libation of choice! Also while I also enjoy a good QD, that work deserved some type of longer lasting protection maybe a ceramic spray sealant or wet coat type of product. Hopefully we get to see this vehicle or again in future episodes!
Good video. Can you do a video on some wheels that have etched on brake dust. I got a brand new car in December and I regret not protecting it for the winter it was just too cold. Now I'm starting to see etched on brake dust on my wheels and it's really hard to remove. Would be good to see how you tackle these problems as in this video I'm really impressed how you got all the containment off with not much contact. 👌
That looks about normal too me, try driving 4 weeks in Sweden with studded tires, and voilà, you have a car just like that. I usually use Tar remover first on a dry car and let it soak for 15 minutes, if it's below 5°C Pressure or low pressure hot water rinse, and then one round of Iron remover and rinse again. It's tough over here ! Great video, but I've seen worse cars every day here in the winter time 😬
Nice to watch this one,I have a white transit connect in the exact condition,so if iam not happy with my products I will give it a go with fall out, have a good weekend
I must say when I used RAPID10 and DYNAMIC on my own channel back in November last year the results were very surprising so it's disappointing it didn't work out the same for you - obviously different times of year, different types of dirt - almost looked more like oil/diesel deposits on that Mercedes but at least it came up really well in the end. Hopefully you get to try the pre-wash out again on something a bit more 'normal' 🤣 👍🏼
Nice one Paul. I had the same problem on a silver Polo a couple of years ago. Used up nearly a litre of AM Iron to get rid of it. On the first hit, you could hardly see the silver paint for all the purple iron running down the panels.
Great work as always Paul. Can't believe how bad the car was, but always with white cars they look worse when dirty but once it was clean it looked amazing, top job 💪
Cracking video. This is the type of content where people like me, an enthusiast, can learn plenty. I know it was an arse for you Paul, but great content for me to watch. You getting that Merc back again, a bit more love? All the best.
I'd be embarrassed if that was my car. Why do people let their cars get so dirty? They cost a fortune to buy, I'd look after it if it were mine. Nice job as usual Paul.
How do Paul, great video again. I must say I think I'd be panicking a bit thinking I'd done something wrong but like you say "every day's a school day". Didn't expect that much fall out to be on that car to stop a pre wash from working. I'll remember that incase it ever happens to me.
This is really interesting, I’ve got a white Audi S5 to do tomorrow and this will be my second visit to the car, however on first visit, citrus, snow foam, TFR and the car still had bonded dirt so used a layer of shampoo through a cannon to make it as safe as possible. Tomorrow I’ll smack it with a decent fallout and see if it that improves the car. Thanks Paul.
@@PaulDoldenDetails agreed, I felt really annoyed to contact wash the car not in a clean enough condition but was loosing the plot trying to work out what to hit it with next
Nice video Paul. You are absolutely correct, paint quality or surface quality can play a major part to product performance especially when you have lots of bonded contaminants.
Lovely job Paul. I've never had a car with paint as contaminated as that, I wonder if that car gets parked near some heavy industry? Lucky they have you as a neighbour👍
That was a proper minger. If in doubt, hit it with the big guns, tfr and fallout remover. That's what I do 😂 Car turned purple! Looked a treat after all your hard work 👏
Great job Paul, I hope you’re neighbour keeps up the car’s appearance. I use citrus pre wash then layer snow foam over the top then rinse. Should I rinse the car first to get rid of the grime first? Loving your work 👍
I get the exact same thing on my van! I use surfex hd and snowfoam over the top and I get black run lines? I have to hand cut it out twice a year. I use iron fallout and have nothing on there. My transporter is 21 years old tho so not the best paint? I've never seen this before on a video so thanks for posting it on as not everyone has perfect paint and we all get some sort of problem when cleaning?so you say its my old clear coat? Great stuff
Looked great in end Paul, In future, if you encounter embedded dirt still present after the prewash would you now just smash it with iron fallout remover?
Cracking video as always. Have seen a fair few white cars on my street that have been battered by winter grime, yet still show a layer of dirt after they’ve been washed. Itching to say something but not my place 😅
Hi Paul Have recently purchased an AVA unit. Would you mind sharing where and details of the various quick release nozzles I can see you using in AVA stubby hand gun Thanks S
Great work there Paul. Just done my car for the first time in months. A quick question. The discs always end up with a sheen of “rust” when I wash the car/wheels. Then obviously when I nxt use the brakes, there is then rust dust on the clean wheels. Any tips on how to avoid it occurring?
Great job Paul (As usual!). I've seen a few white cars looking similar to this a lately. Makes you wonder how they cope when it comes to washing it themselves-if they ever do?!
Your neighbour is a scruff! That car hasn't had a proper wash in Months judging by the amount of green around those roof rails! Hope you're not on a water meter 😱
I'm thinking the issue with the Merc, is embedded fallout contamination - probably their neighbour working on the railways, I reckon that's the cause 👀😳🤣🤣👊🛎👍 ...hope your well old un🙌
Good work there Paul.

Superb methodology. Love the video and process. Bummed out I never got the notification on this! But I searched for you & found it.
Thanks 🙏🏻 mate 👍🏻
Wow! That was a lot of contamination! Thanks for the great video!
One. Of the things I love about you and Jon from Forensic detailing is you both give wonderful narration and cool ass English accents 👍
Cleaning windows in sun , respect:)

Great stuff Paul, i have now been inspired to tackle mine which is long overdue an after winter deep clean.
Excellent work, Paul, it's always helpful when you need to troubleshoot when it's not straightforward 👍👍👍
Excellent video Paul, loved this one
Another fantastic job Paul, that was some amount of contamination on that Merc
Top video has always ❤ got to love a white car . Top tip n the Ez brushes.

Nice one Paul, it's the problem ones like this that we learn from. Thanks buddy!
As always a great video, and a great turnaround on that Mercedes A Class.
That looks about normal too me, try driving 4 weeks in Sweden with studded tires, and voilà, you have a car just like that.

Another fantastic and informative video Paul
That is one tremendous job! It's amazing how iron remover can make such a HUGE difference in the "cleanability" of the paint.
Wow amazing turn around Paul. Definitely some hard graft there.

Morning Paul, nice to see you keeping the 11th commandment “Thou should not double thy neighbour’s wheels!” Nope use the packer!
Great work as always Paul. Can't believe how bad the car was, but always with white cars they look worse when dirty but once it was clean it looked amazing, top job 💪
Wow! That was a lot of work, a wash turned into a mini detail job!
Great video Paul, amazing end result and some teally good pointers theres useful tips. Keep up the great work and . 😊
Great video Paul giving those products a fair chance & speaking to them about your results.👍👍 love to see more Metro & Tig welding content 😊

Really nice video Paul. Looking forward to getting back home from holiday to wash my car

An amazing turnaround on the A Class, Paul. Fantastic explanation of what you were doing and why. You deserve that car, not your neighbour.
And I fit in it lovely cars thanks 🙏🏻 Robert

Nice tyre product! 👍🏼👍🏼
Lovely job Paul. I've never had a car with paint as contaminated as that, I wonder if that car gets parked near some heavy industry? Lucky they have you as a neighbour👍
That fallout was something else. At least you figured out what could be the cause in the end thankfully
Saturday 10:32 at night rain pouring down i'm watching me some PDD
That was a proper minger. If in doubt, hit it with the big guns, tfr and fallout remover. That's what I do 😂
Car turned purple! Looked a treat after all your hard work 👏
Enjoyed that. Great video buddy
Good video as always Paul - I’d have used the GT Decon for the contact wash though rather than a pH neutral given the state of the paint?
Great video - I don't think I'll be asking the family for a reach around... Brush that is
Great job Paul, I hope you’re neighbour keeps up the car’s appearance. I use citrus pre wash then layer snow foam over the top then rinse. Should I rinse the car first to get rid of the grime first? Loving your work 👍
If it’s really thick grime then yes 🙌🏻
This video gave me much more viewing pleasure experience.
😉

wow what a difference, Happy Father's Day to you
Happy fathers Day 👍🏻
What black nozzle is that on your spray gun. Thanks.
Carscope website 👍🏻
Looked great in end Paul,
In future, if you encounter embedded dirt still present after the prewash would you now just smash it with iron fallout remover?
That’s the million dollar question possibly 👍🏻
Cracking video as always. Have seen a fair few white cars on my street that have been battered by winter grime, yet still show a layer of dirt after they’ve been washed.
Itching to say something but not my place 😅
The link to the purple wash mitt in the video description doesnt work 😊
Ok 👍🏻
Hi paul, what do you make of the EZ range
I reviewed them years ago before they rebranded after that I didn’t replace them after hearing the quality had gone down hill
Paul what did you use to apply the tyre dressing ?? 😊
Carscope uk tire brush
Universal, plain non-metalic paint tends to be that way. You gotta decontaminate it much more often than mettalic paints.
Hi Paul
Have recently purchased an AVA unit. Would you mind sharing where and details of the various quick release nozzles I can see you using in AVA stubby hand gun

Look on my tracker link on main site Male Bayonet adapter and one of these
amzn.to/3GNj5AR you need both
Cmon Paul Alien Majic Pre Wash and Car Pro Descale the Alien Majic Wrath.
Next time hit it with Descale from Car Pro.
Always fun Paul. Good Effort.
Kevin 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻😍😍😍
nice work Paul, a good decon shampoo might have been easier, but you had other products to try out.👍🏼
Great work there Paul. Just done my car for the first time in months. A quick question. The discs always end up with a sheen of “rust” when I wash the car/wheels. Then obviously when I nxt use the brakes, there is then rust dust on the clean wheels. Any tips on how to avoid it occurring?
You need to try Bilt Hamber Atom Mac on your discs to reduce the rusting.
Wash them and use them immediately after.
My wife has got the same car, same colour and the paintwork is exactly the same.
Would have loved o seen how Bilt Hamber products dealt with this instead. I don't think you can best them.
Nothing wrong with a reach-around, Paul.
🤣
What the verdict on the new AVA film lance ?
Works very well and delivers the product in the right consistency 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
@@PaulDoldenDetails thanks Paul
Maybe parked near a railway, the brake dust can cause that fallout.
To be honest I think this car was in storage before it was sold my Skoda was bad before I got hold of it 👍🏻
Nice job
Looked like a tough one. Q: why didn’t you clay towel the car? Great video as usual
That would machine polishing after it wasn’t in the price
That was a properly winter grimy dirty car Paul......superbly transformed to a shiny white as new Merc! chapeau! 👏👏
Excellent job Paul a very hard days work for you but well worth persisting to get a great out come
Great job Paul (As usual!). I've seen a few white cars looking similar to this a lately. Makes you wonder how they cope when it comes to washing it themselves-if they ever do?!
The TFR at the local car wash with three phase pressure washers normally work well
Looking great at the end, but i bet that didn't take 30 mins lol a lot of fallout on it.
You really had your work cut out on this one Paul, I used to work at a steelworks with loco tracks in the road and fallout remover was my best friend.
Great video fallout can be a right pain in the butt
When I worked for a Mercedes Benz main dealer we had to fallout the cars straight from the factory
Wow that explains a lot David that’s incredible 👍🏻
#crocs 🤣🤣🙌
If you know you know 😉😉😉
Your neighbour must of being cock a hoop with the end result Paul, top notch job my friend
Lovely jumper Paul 😂
If you know you know 😉😉😉
Defo needed a decon car was matted
Your neighbour is a scruff! That car hasn't had a proper wash in Months judging by the amount of green around those roof rails!
Hope you're not on a water meter 😱
Yes we are 😭
The owner buy a expensive car and have no money left for maintenance. 🤦
Very common I’m afraid mainly BMWs on finance though 😀
Looks like I'll be buying the new ava snow foam connon to go with my new ava machine😅😅😅😅
Fantastic job
Looks great Paul
I'm thinking the issue with the Merc, is embedded fallout contamination - probably their neighbour working on the railways, I reckon that's the cause 👀😳🤣🤣👊🛎👍 ...hope your well old un🙌
Probably off my head Andy 😂
Nuclear fallout!
