Cwas, none of the others offer the warranty plus 5 years of maintenance! Genesis is awesome.

I'd take the Genesis. Warranty is 10 years/100,000 miles and long term reliability should be better than the German competition. I think it looks beautiful 🤩

Exactly. It seems to me that they are actually creating a new class of vehicle. The performance,design, value that is on par or actually better than the regular luxury cars (Audi, BMW, Mercedes) but with the interior design, materials, and technology of the super premium cars (Bentley, Rolls Royce). PLUS the quality, reliability AND WARRANTY OF A Hyundai! Genesis is in a class by itself…
What a beautiful car overall. I love the design. The rear quarter is beautiful and I love the slim lighting front & rear. The interior is gorgeous especially the dash. The only thing I don't like about the interior is the protruding "pods" on the steering wheel. Awesome car.

@@MrGeezil parts are almost compatible even for brakes, is like supra and z4, are both the same car with different look

The genesis wing on the back was always impressive to me. My 2023 g70 has one on the front and it really does need one on the back. It just comes across as very luxurious.

OK Boomer here, with back problems, got my first G90 back in 2016, drove it two time from Miami to Virginia, only stopping for gas and pee without any back pain, but then my wife decided to lease the GV80 and oh boy, just drove to MIA to Orlando, and kind of pain surfed during that trip, so we're back to the G90. I'm so happy now.
I drive a 2011 Maybach 57s and would seriously consider this in my next purchasing decision, thank you for the great overview, great production value and quality.

I bought the 2021 G90 with the V8 the Ultimate version, and I just love it. Before that I had a Mercedes S Class. I traded that in on the G90. I like the G90 better.

I love the G90. This is a car a want to have. However, I have heard that it is hard to get an appointment to have the car serviced and that Genesis ( The Brand) doesn't have dedicated service stations. They all are serviced at Hyundai. Is this true or...?

The front fender trim lights are much nicer on the G90 than the G80. The G80 needs this upgrade as well as the trim tailight going across the trunk lid like the G90.
Sounds good on paper, but I doubt many people shopping/leasing in this price range care about saving a few grands. Just get the Merc.

I rented a 3.5at for my trip to New Orleans for Mardi Gras. And I would purchase this outstanding vehicle over the Mercedes S class. The car is very powerful, looks like nothing else, is refined, quiet, luxurious, has quality laden material, has high quality fit and finish and all at the right price. While cruising on the interstate, I achieved 31 mph! However that only if you go light on the turbos. This car will analyze your driving and tell you to take a coffee break. And the brakes stop you yesterday! They are that good. The only thing this vehicle doesn't have is legacy long term reliability. And the trunk is small and the rear seats don't fold. But this vehicle is so good that I can live with that. Well, it is relatively new. During Mardi Gras in New Orleans, the car garnered attention! I will probably purchase a 2021 or 2022 3.5at.

Just a quick recommendation: you don’t show enough rolling shots of the back of the car. Maybe get someone to follow and get some shots from behind the car on the road?

Everyone seems to have that big rev counter as big as the speedo. Completely unnecessary in an automatic. Put the speedo in the middle as MB did in their old cars.

Looks are based on personal opinions. We believe this to be true in all things. I think I dont find long sedans appealing.....at all. Not for me. That front end.....ouch. Dont like any part of the front end. For me, no matter what it has to offer....it is still a Genesis....I just cant see myself buying one. Silly, but that brand just feels cheap to me. Funny thing is...I drive Nissans. Now aint that a trip....the kettle calling the pot black. You just gotta laugh! (LoL) Anyway, I would overlook the good in this car due to the brand.....I would have to pass!
I own a 2017 S550 and it is way better than a Genesis. Rear end of Genesis is same as Hyudai Elantra, are you kidding me. The G90 offers a great car at a more reasonable price but it lacks Mercedes, Audi luxury. I have test driven new 2023 G90 and it was a lot rougher rider than I expected and steering was subpar. BMW is still best handeling even over Benz and Audi. It is still only a great introductory Luxury vehicle but still behind Benz, Audi and BMW.

I owned a Hyundai , Genesis and a Audi. I plan on buying a S class in this year 2023, and I can afford it ( cash payment). I do honestly believe that Genesis drives so much better than Audi, that’s my favorite car. I plan to buy a S class -only to keep up with Jones’s and I knew it. Hope I don’t regret that decision. 2023 Genesis looks stunning in every aspect though.

Nah. I’ll take the superior Benz. This is a close second as I can’t stand to look at the new 7-Series.
The fit and finish of my lower end G70 Sport is really excellent. No cheap knobs, or cheap plastics. Everything feels solid and I am also sold on the Genesis 5 year bumper to bumper warranty, 3 year free service and 3 year free Valet Service with loaner! Need an oil change? They will come to your house with a loaner, take your car away and return it the same day. Bam.
Lol. Save money ???. It's now more expensive than a Audi A8 and Lexus LS 500. 100k for a Hyundai???
It's a Genesis. Not a Hyundai. Genesis is it's own brand. I own a GV80 and I'm more than impressed with it. It's perfect luxury.

I'd take a G90 over anything in the class. The S Class interior feels confused and the piano black is getting old. The 7 Series is just too much. The A8 is more subdued, like the G90. But the tech and interior aren't up to snuff in usability.
People spending this kind of money on a vehicle are doing it for the badge on the front as much as anything else. If you really like this car, wait 3 years and buy one for half price

Reminds me of those early Hyundai Genesis sedans from around 2012 with the "bootleg" looking grille and wannabe Benz lights. From a distance you thought "luxury car" but once it pulled up close you realized "oh it's the pretend one for people who can't afford the real thing". Just save up another $30K and get the S-Class.
This looks like a Bentley not a Mercedes’ lol. This car blows the Mercedes’ away. Why will I wanna spend like extra 40k? The SClass doesn’t even hold its value.

This car is not even close to lexas , the safety features like blind spot and cross traffic dont even come close . Second class car , second class electronics. give a real review or actualy drive a real car and see the difference.
Save money over the G90 and buy a CPO S Class with an extended 100k warranty!

Watches are collectors items that hold and even increase in value. Cars these days, don’t. Especially with all the electronics bound to break. Your analogy is wrong. Genesis’ value holds better than a Benz. Dollar for dollar, you get more with the Genesis than you do with any German brand. If the Benz went up in value then it’d be a no brainer. You also get a 100K mile or 10 year warranty with genesis. They have the best warranty incentives out of any other brand today. They also have a valet service where they come to you and drop off a loaner to pick up your car so you don’t have to come to them.
Definitely NO! Beautiful car shouldn't exist in that league with this design . Where LS500 is lost, Genesis is invisible. Nobody wants to park this next to S Class because still you feel like No 2. These cars are for the people who wants to show his/her money. Not someone wants to save 40K. I'd buy it for 75K max. Not 100! LS500 is 75K :))) who is Genesis?

If you have to buy a Hyundai over a Mercedes to save money, then you shouldn't be looking at a Mercedes in the first place.

By your statement you’ve just admitted that the Mercedes has heigh volumes for not just the feature and quality but also “brand” prestige price.
Whereas g90 exchange quality and luxurious features for lower amount of money.
Not about buying the g90 because you can’t afford the s class, it’s about individuality… what you want and not following the heard! I could have bought a c class, an Audi A4 or BMW 3 series.. I chose not to, I went for a Genesis G70 because there is 1 of them to every 10,000 of the others.. individuality as I said :)
You missed the point entirely. I would absolutely buy this Genesis over the new S-Class if money were of no issue.
This car is amazing in almost every aspect! It's just missing the 8 cylinder. I recently surprised my wife with this 2024 E Supercharged in Makalu Gray with the all white interior. This is our 5th Genesis vehicle and her 2nd G90, which is a 2021 5.0. In silver with the taupe interior and the crazy Maybach looking wheels.
Although my wife says the 2024 is quick enough for her but not like our 5.0 8 cylinder. If she wants more acceleration, she just jumps in her 2022 C8 Corvette LT2 with the Z51 package. 0-60 2.9 seconds. I am an exotic guy myself, but I must admit Chevrolet took the Corvette from an American Sports car into an exotic class for a lot less money. Wait until I take delivery on the 2024 C8 Z06 I ordered. She does have access to my car collection! Remember, a happy wife makes for a happy life!😊
I must admit that the 2024 G90 ride, comfort, and tech is amazing!!! I told my wife is I am buying her a black limo drivers cap to wear while driving me around in the back seat!
She also has a 2020 G80, which is now our family loaner as we have seven adult children. We also put one of our sons in a G70 (he's my employee, and it's a perk).
I have become a big Genesis fan since 2017. I am no longer drinking the S Class and 7 Series koolaid. My wife actually says enjoys the Genesis G90s over any of the S Class and the 7 Series!
