See, I always thought that about the standard DPPt Legendary battle theme. Gotta be one of the most bland themes out there, but it captures that 'ball shake tension' perfectly IMO.
This was crazy, I'm playing through black 2. I went up to virizion, used garbodor to hit it with poison moves, it got poisoned, once it was on red health I threw an ultra ball it shook and I caught it first try. The other ones were insane though.
This might be the best remaster you have done. It's very distinct from the original, yet also feels exactly the same. It's like when vegan meat tastes like regular meat perfectly. (Which is only theoretical sadly)

Having a remaster with quality this high really highlights how complex of a track it is. The stressful gradual change of tempo, the piano going completely nuts in the background, etc... it does give the "out of this world" vibe almost as much as the Ultra Beasts theme, yet without feeling completely alien. It's really incredible.
I cannot express how much I love this. Am a huge Virizion fan and loved to catch all three back then, and the old theme is just a cookie compared to your cake of a remix 👌 11/10 would buy a physical version of that!

Literally your Gen 5 remasters sound EXACTLY the way I imagine they’d sound in black and white 3. I grew up with Gen 5, and seeing you make such amazing remasters of the music and give them real attention makes me so happy. And hearing all these remastered versions on Gen 5’s outstanding soundtrack makes me every more excited to see my favorite generation come back sometime in the next few years. Ah yes, the theme of the things that I never actually bothered to catch in White 2 Kobalium was behind a Cut tree and I wasn´t motivated enough to get the Cut slave out of the box again, Viridium I basically left standing there in the middle of the road and it probably felt really stupid about that and the final one whose name I forgot... I cannot remember, I think I ran by it too, these encounters felt so random I just could not be asked to bad because their song is actually quite cool and this version is on fire, good work
When you realize that you can go into your 3DS system settings and go to your DSi ware and simply turn off auto connect, change the date back to anytime in last 10 months of 2011 and legally obtain all Gen 5 Mystery Gifts at random including the Liberty Pass to obtain V-Create Victini. 0:05 "Smol Wolf whistle intensifies"
To me, this is probably the best pokemon battle theme I've heard in most of their games. Black and White has probably the top, if not one of the top, best music

The bass line in the beginning reminds me of Checker Dance (Deltarune). The rest of the track low-key makes me anxious, though in this case that's a good thing.

Took me 1.5 agonizing hours to catch Cobalion because my Pokemon were such low level and I ran out of Pokeballs

The speeding up and slowing down is really intense when you know the stress of the Pokeball failing over and over

The first time I fought Virizion like a decade ago, I had forgotten to save first and had very few pokeballs so this captures the tension pretty well
