  • The Riverside Cabins are located along the Tulameen River in Princeton, British Columbia Canada and were hard hit when the dike was breached there earlier this month. This is a short video showing some of the improvements being made to that site. Filmed November 27, 2021 by W. George Elliott, Looseink Freelance Ninja

Thankyou for these 2 short videos !!. More please =)
(and maybe just a wee bit longer shots to allow us on this side of the screen time to focus). . Really appreciate gaving your eyes on the scene.
Any chance of a walk up Billiter , from the Tulameem river to Bridge street??

Access is restricted in most of the evacuated zone, so that's why I shoot from a distance and zoom where I can. This video got cut short as my battery died (I should know better...lol). Will try to get more.

Amazing work on the dikes and starting work on roads and Prep for bridges. But peoples personal lives may never be the same. The land they owned was swept away and all possessions gone or ruined. Lifetime or generations of farming progress and development wiped out.

@@private15 Yes, I hear you. I owned a cabin on Old Hedley Road, but I sold it a few years ago. I know the town very well.

I wonder if people paid for a riverside view or a levee view. The irony of riverside cabins blocked by a levee. Should rename them Levee View Cabins.

"Riverside Cabins" more like "Dike View Cabins" now. How stupid!
