    * My family has owned a house & property in New Westerhall Grenada since 1967. Grand Etang secret: The Carib Indians used to make Live sacrifices in the lake 💀 Back in the sixties they ate the turtles. You'd see them on they're backs one the beaches slowly dying waiting for someone to butcher them to make steaks & turtle soup . Which is pretty tasty. Our place is on the hill above Westerhall Rum Distillery. Used to be rum by the Chatteau family. The iguanas are tasty also. Can't believe all the fancy tourist traps these days. I miss the homemade buses. Wooden bed and roof with church pews for seats. All decorated in brite colors on the back of a Bedford, Morris, or Austin 2 ton truck. The Nutmeg restaurant/bar on the harbor in St. Georges. It had front walls that cranked open so you could watch the happenings in the harbor. The Carriacou Boat. No bathroom. Guys went over the side. Women got a bucket . 👊🤣👍
