  • I finally did it! I finished a marathon under 3 hours at 2:56:33 officially at the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon. Starting at downtown Minneapolis and finishing at downtown St. Paul.
I qualified for Boston! I cannot wait to go and run that race.
This video I provide the race day experience from waking up, to traveling to the starting line, a few shots of the support during the race, and the finishing line with all the goodies you are provided at the end.

Congratulations!! If you're ever back in minneapolis, head over to north loop. That area tends to be a lot busier!

Huge congrats. I’m doing it for the first time this year. What was your pacing strategy? Did you bank time before the hill at 20 miles?

Thank you! My strategy is usually to keep a constant ice throughout. I don’t like banking time. My splits are almost very even. However when I see a hill I conserve energy, take smaller steps and go on a slower pace. It usually makes up for it on the down hill which there happened to be one here. Good luck!👍🏼

Congrats on you BQ! The course looks pretty. Is it pretty flat? It’s on my to do list.

Thank you! It was pretty flat. A small climb but barely noticeable and short small hills. I would recommend.
