Great tutorial! Just recently getting into this game. I think it's funny people find the notation weird, I'm used to it (however I do play Guilty Gear haha). Plan to watch your other MB videos. Cheers!
I can't do anything in this game without being combo'd by the wall the entire time...
+BRITENESS Defense is a huge part of the game. Knowing how to use and abuse defense mechanics and or your characters reversals go a long way
And ranged attacks. Especially against AI on higher difficulty, ranged and "uppercut" attacks are super useful when playing defensively ^^
@ZeroDemio Reduce Damage. By timing your any button to the attack in your opponents combos, you can reduce the amount of damage you take a little bit.

It works almost the same as a grab on the ground. But when you fail an airgrab, you are in recovery until you land and VERY vulnerable.

damage reduce mash with good timing to take less damage

Also supposedly, there's no penalty for getting the timing wrong. Better to mash then to press nothing.

anyone know how to unlock mech hisui w/ kohaku? I have beaten arcade mode with neco arc several times and it doesnt seem to work.

Damn, how technical. My dream fighter has a bit of such, but then again, each fighter does have its own forms of how technical things get.

J means an action is done when jumping, the "." Is used to notate extra stuff on an action, so jumping c would be j.c
