King Tubby is universally recognized and acknowledged as the "Father of Dub." But we shall be generous and name Scratch the "Step-Father of Dub." By far this is my favorite Scratch dub. Here Scratch is dubbing the late James Riley's monumental "Give Thanks and Praise" riddim to devastating effect.
Black ARK in Dub (Money) converted me to Perry. Fisherman Dub too. Lee Perry is very difficult to understand at first. When you do, you realize he earned every accolade given to him.
