Do they play well with MD 421's on Toms? I know those mic's are a bit weirdly sized, but would love to be able to use this instead of stand for my small studio space
So for most other mics with a shockmount/mic clip etc, would you just use the main clamp piece, and screw it into the mount/clip, or is it not really designed to be used with most mics other than Lauten?
Rim Mount is designed to work with just about any third-party microphone. 421, 414, D4, whatever. And you would just use their included mic clip, and screw it right on.😊
@@LautenAudio Hey, thanks. You know, that's def what I was thinking/hoping, but the one thing that I just could't quite picture was if the second part of the clip(the one you had on the tom mic) would be needed, or whether or not you'd be able to use it? Like since the main part with the threads would likely just screw on to the mount/clip , I'm just curious how/if the other part of the clip would come in?
We're nerds like you! Thanks for creating such an excellent microphone mounting solution. You guys have knocked it out of the park again!
🥰🥰🥰
Clever, why didn't you give us some tasty audio while behind the kit Brian?
Such a cool product and yet another reason to finally buy a drum kit.
I love this idea. Im already looking forward to getting a few. Great looking design!
We are so glad! Hope you like them!
i have 2 of them. and I am taking them on a tour with my lauten tom mics. I love them
Very very cool. I’ll have to try this out.
Finally, a cohesive room mount
so cool!
Can you guys make one for the bassdrum?
Definitely something we can look at.

Can Rim Mount work with LS308?
It does! It works with almost anything
Do these work with S Hoops?
We are checking on this and unsure at the moment, but they were not designed with those in mind.
They do! 🤘🏻👊🏻
First comment gets a freebie! That's what I heard anyway.
