- I hope this video was fun to watch whether or not you're making handles in the near future! Give it a like or save it to a playlist in case you ever find yourself in a pottery studio or in the mood to hang out. Thanks for watching, and let me know what other tutorials or content you'd like to see!

I think the cat tail analogy works WAY better, both in terms of the movement, and also the gentleness!👍 With milking cows, it's squeezing from the top (index) finger progressively down to the bottom (ring) finger, while holding your hand mostly in the same place. Why didn't I think of the cat tail analogy?! Genius!💯👍
I also liked that analogy.
just wanted to take the time to thank you for making these and say how much i liked this format. as a 2000’s kid who attempted to become a youtuber like a billion times in my life, i know it’s a lot of work and learning, but please don’t stop! you’re a wonderful teacher
Thanks for posting this, im trying my hand at making a full mug tomorrow, and my pottery classes have been cancelled, so you're my teacher now😂
ive always been so curious about handle pulling! :D
ive been blessed, followed you a few days ago, and you give us this after doing other things for a few months! yay!
I really enjoy your longer format vids and I'm really looking forward to more of those if you do decide to keep makin them !!
You are am awesome teacher, you have a soothing voice and a lot of patience, that makes learning easier. Keep up the great work. Thanks for sharing!
Such a good video!! You’re so good at explaining and teaching. I’ve just thrown my first little things at my pottery class after watching your video, and it was such a good help. Keep doing what you’re doing!!
Would really love to see a video on the handle pulling 🖤 or any other video! I really enjoyed this longer format 🥰
Your long form content is great, thank you
I'm learning handles right now! It's so deceptively challenging! This is a slightly different approach than what I learned and I can't wait to try it.
i loved this! super helpful!! i cant wait to see what long form video u make next!
Very enjoyable video, thank you for the awesome and entertaining content! Also, I thought of the large and small handles as human and hobbit handles.😅 I have huge hands so would love the left mug handle.😁👍
love this video! dont be so hard on yourself!! x
Can't wait for next video.
I like the larger mug handle. The smaller one, you can tell it was made to fit in the space rather than find a smaller handle that fit properly
We are in the zone to learn how to create
Id love a product recommendation video. Tools, wheels, clay whatever. Mason sain brand for glazes. As someone with at least a little bit of experience I'm very curious what you use.
Great video! I've never done pottery but hope to try it someday so I feel like I'm getting ahead by watching these hehe
I had one kind of basic question if you see this, but no pressure! When you were doing the porcelain handle, you said you kept "slip" nearby and I've heard you use the term before, but I'm not 100% sure what it means? Is it just diluted porcelain? Also when you attach the clay handle, you say you used water and not "slip", is this because the clay and porcelain are different and the clay is stickier?
Also, huge props to you for trying long form content, it is so difficult to do all parts of the process on your own and adobe premiere pro is just such a nightmare to work with, so the fact that you got the video out at all is a win in my books! Love your content, thank you for sharing your authentic self and art with us ❤❤❤
Can you make a video of you using basic tools please, it would be fun to watch the difference in your work with only being able to use basic tools
👍 ❤❤
Oh, for handle-less "mugs" (goblets? cups? vessels?) is it the thickness of a mug that insulates the drink and shields the hand from heat or is it the type of ceramic? The creation method (wheel vs coil vs manufactured/slip casting)? All of the above?
I ask, as being a bigger person I find it easier to hold a mug by the body rather than the handle - but that is not always an option if I want to keep my hands un-3rd degree burned.
2q 😊 , 1: do u glaze ur mugs? Bcs when i carve a pattern or a drawing then the glaze cover it to much and is bearly notisable, i see ur mugs have carved thing lines. 2: what exactly is made of that type of clay? Is so much more white then mine, i have a darck grey one, dont know the diference...
So. This is gonna be THAT episode...😅
Looking forward to it.🤣
Minds in the pug mill? =D
"plain" is prettier
