I watched your review on the Epomaker Shadow-X and thought you did a very thorough job. I purchased an Epomaker product based upon your review, although I opted for a 75% model. I took your comments to heart about the Blueberry switches and liked the linear sound during your typing example. You said they were your favorite switch and so I ordered my 75% with the Blueberry switches. Good work. A direct sale. You convinced me.
Great review! Very straight to the point and professionally done! Thumbs up! I almost bought this keyboard a couple of times with the Flamingo switches.
frl tkl is my favorite layout by far so far. I also got this and def a fun board. Sound profile isn't my favorite out of box but thats something that can be adjusted which is why i love this board. great video!
in deed the typing sound is actually great for this keyboard with the bluebird switch. Is there any alternative on the switch to use on this keyboard? The knob lacks functionality though.
One of the best, retro looking keyboards I’ve seen to date. What is the heaviest switch available for it? I may swap it out for Cherry clears eventually but I’d like to try the heaviest ones it comes with first
@@AngelPGC thanks! I ended up grabbing the budgerigar with this keyboard as they seem to have heavier bottom out. I’m a fan of the Cherry clears and whites so seemed like the best choice as I’m quite heavy on keys when I type. I may swap for some whites and clears still and see how the difference is. So far it seems like one of the best keyboards I’ve had. Shame the case doesn’t come in white as I’d love these dark keys on a white case. I may end up modding it at some point. The keyboard has quite a retro feel to its look and the typing experience. Really enjoying it so far.
it's all personal preference but they're all pretty similar, however the Epomaker Wisteria has a force of grams of 45 while the others are 47 gf. So the wisteria is the lightest if you prefer that, but it's not that much of a difference. Or else I would choose based on which color you like.
You have to do it in the driver epomaker.com/blogs/software/epomaker-shadow-x-driver If you have it, go to sketchpad tab and then click adjust screen time

nice video there! can you change the knob function to volume or else?
unfortunately i dont think you can, its only for the three types of connectivity modes
Was the type test on 100% stock set up? No additional lube on the switches? Slightly thocky😊
