- Here is a rare classic @LEGO Castle set, 1680 ‘Crusader’s Cart’ from the Forestmen! Can you spot the difference between this set (1680, and 1877 also called Crusader’s Cart? This cart also inspired the one in the new Lion Knight’s Castle 10305 #legocastle #legovintage #vintagecollectibles #legoknights #vintagelego #lego
Your Castle collection is crazy, makes me want to sell all my modern stuff and just get old sets. Forestmen were an awesome theme, they really made the Castle world feel more lively by having a neutral faction that could mess with the other factions.
Yeah, the newer decades, Lego sets are really detailed! But to me they don’t have the same charm as the old sets, and lots of pieces and accessories that look ‘non-lego’ to me. I guess I’m an old fogey, but I love the old 80’s and 90’s sets the best!
I think I read online it was sold for a short period only which adds to its scarcity. Plus a blue forestman and pickett fork are also rare. Kind of ticks all the boxes for those who want what few have
Another great vintage set! I’m jealous 😂
Look for 1877, it’s a little easier to find!
First time I have seen this one (Netherlands here).
When I read the description I ran to my Lion Knights Castle (under Construction) and indeed the cart does look like this one.
And since the Castle comes with some forestmen (and a great hide-out) You can donate the cart to the forestmen.
However the new one does not have a nice hiding place though.
Ah yes! Indeed that new Lion Knights Castle has lots of inspiration from many of the classic sets, which is pretty cool! Good luck building and finishing 10305- hope to get one in the future as well!
Nice , I love this set it very unique in it own
Yes indeed!
I am quite enjoying this channel. Just found it recently!
Awesome! Thank you for watching, it’s for anyone who enjoys and appreciates nostalgia for old Lego Castle sets! (with the exception of a few MOC’s and display pieces) 😃

Not nostalgic for me, I was born in the 2000s. But, I love cool Lego builds.
I just watched because i’m selling all sets from my childhood and wondered why it was so popular. It was a set from my childhood i didn’t even remember! Judging by your vid the value is in the instruction manual / box as you said it wasn’t released in the U.S? I’ve seen complete sets on ebay for £50/55 but any with instructions the price seems to jump waaaay up
Todays sets have more pieces, more realistic designs, and better colors. Just none of the charm.
Yes, as I say more 'toy-ish', or 'action-figure' ish.
