I had the same problem and it turned out that the APs I had purchased the LR and Pro 6 were EA and didn't support bluetooth. So I upgraded my Pro 6 to a newer model with bluetooth and they're now connected and working fine.

Yes, after I researched the issue, I found out that EA does not support bluetooth as well. However, my issue appeared slightly different because after verifying, my APs were not EA model.
I was able to fix the issue in the end; it was an issue with the "Auto-Adopt Bridge Device" setting. When you go to the SYSTEM SETTING for the PROTECT app, under the "Auto-Adopt Bridge Device", the AP 6 Access Points were showing as "Unlinked" and could not linked them. I had to reset these APs to factory setting and set them up again before it allowed me to link them.
By the way, apologies for just getting back to you. I had two family emergencies and deaths I needed to attend which kept me busy for a while.
