The Kelisas are basically exported versions of the Miras. Otherwise it is more exact to say that the Kelisa is an European market Mira which is known as the Cuore.
Hey what size alternator belt do you have in the engine? I need the specs to find a new belt for my gino, thats the belt with the yellow writing on the driver side. Im not sure if the spec is 3PK??? Or 4PK??? My previous upper belt burst an got shredded so im not sure
Damn you 25 year import rule in the USA!!! No idea Toyota made a version of the Mini, one of these with a 5 speed would be a riot and about the same size as the original british Mini. I'd like to have a 2000's/2010's BMW Mini, but after reading reviews they are absolutely one of the most unreliable and expensive to fix cars on the road today. Somehow BMW managed to make their version even more unreliable and WAY WAY WAY harder/more expensive to service than the British Leyland version.
Importing a car to Canada there are a couple things you'll need to do. You will need DOT tires, DOT headlights, DOT front corner reflectors(4$ at Can Tire). You'll also need daytime running lights (easily done with a kit off Amazon) and to make sue everything else saftey wise is in working order (DOT not required). Headlights would be the only difficult thing. Them being round you might be able to find some generic DOT headlights that fit. Or you could get the help from on of the many Japanese part importers in BC.
@@gusisgus Manitoba was being dumb the last I checked. They wanted DOT markers, seat belts and brake lines. Odd story is that my sister in law had the Mira Gino Minilite in Japan and would have gifted it to us, but it was newer than 15 years.

How hard would it be to get this car registered in Canada? Do the turn and brake lights and seatbelts have DOT markings?
