Beautiful imagery. The forest, and nature in general, really was a character of its own on this show. All real, real castles, nothing computer generated. On the other hand, they didn't exactly film while it rained, and it rains *a lot* in England 😂 Reportedly it was quite hard for the cast and crew, filming out of doors so much of the time, or in cold, smoky castles.

An English tale, filmed by a Welsh TV production company with an Irish soundtrack. Beautiful stuff. We were always multicultural, only it was a natural progression and not forced diversity.

Fond childhood classic
Looking at Sherwood Forest the other day. It's now a tiny wood surrounded by fields and pastures where once ancient trees and paths dwelt.
