Just another example that we shouldn’t be looking up to celebrities as role models. Just because you can act, model, sing, etc doesn’t mean you are any more wiser and kinder than others who are not famous.
This reminds me a lot of bipolar disorder. I’ve known people in a state of mania who talk like this and I think it’s due to the ego inflating so much. It makes me sad when it happens to my family members. It’s like they aren’t really there, it’s someone else.
Yes,this is my experience too. People think they're being rude-which I suppose they are-but I can see that it's due to mental illness. I remember feeling the same about Kanye West and his ranting and raving.
I get like this a lot I'm very flamboyant since a younger age but personal family issues burden my ego so I try to act like I'm super okay or super confident and come off pretentious or douchy, I can control it now cause I'm a bit older and don't like offending anyone but when I get confused or my mental state is foggy and I'm depressed I resort to the childish confusing outbursts
Claudia was so patient and professional having to be stuck with him throughout the press tour back then. I remember thinking he was just high…this was before his grooming, assault, etc. stuff came out
I don’t think he meant to be rude but he was definitely having a manic episode of disorganized thinking and you just happened to get caught in the situation. It didn’t seem he was trying to be mean but definitely was incoherent and out of control.
Yikes!! This guy is absolutely NUTS!!! I feel SO bad for you and this poor sweet actress that is awkwardly sitting next to him. Omg!! _"I would have ended the interview and just left if I were you"_ You must have not watched enough of Kjersti's videos if you think you can just do that easily. That's not how this industry works, sadly.
Oh, man. Joan Rivers....imagine if she were still around doing interviews and encountered Ezra acting like this?? I would PAY to watch his abhorrent personality crumble under her takedown. I detest rude people.
I'm not surprised, but you mentioned Ezra seemed charming at first, and you speak to this guy over gaps over the years like checkpoints on someone's path of self-destruction (by whatever they are on), and you can clearly see how this person descends to madness over time 😶
Looking at this interview footage and not anything else, was his behaviour so bad? Rather than rude wasn't he just trying to be entertaining in a kooky way? Aren't entertainers supposed to be a bit odd? His behaviour struck me as a bit of a low energy Robin Williams thing. There is clearly something odd going on but why judge so harshly?
Probably a combination of a hyped state of mind and drugs. It's really no different to Bowie or Iggy or James Brown (or yes Robin Williams in almost anything for years) in the 70's. He's travelling in his own world and operating a kind of stream of consciousness thing, the ideas flit in and out and in and out and he's probably forgotten what he said a minute earlier. He's a bit manic and weird, but by no means is this a freaky interview. Seriously some folks need to go and check out some messed up interviews, there's way worse. I think people's perceptions of him personally are coloured by his naughty behaviour. Is he making things difficult? Sure. Is he making others feel a bit uncomfortable? Yeah cos they don't really know how he's going to respond next. He's not playing the Hollywood Interview Game properly and it jars with the other two who are. Check out Bowie's interview with Dick Cavett in 76. He's charming and effete and adorable, until you ask him the wrong question and he gets really sharp. The intellect is all still in there, but it goes off in weird tangents cos he hasn't slept for days on end and is on a diet of cocaine and peppers and milk. People in this state of mind will be paranoid and often go off on weird tangents that others find hard to follow. Makes perfect sense to them, but everyone else is mystified.
That guy was spiraling really bad. Bless your heart and the other reporters' hearts for dealing with that. Can you imagine having to work 12-hour-plus days with him? That sweet lady who was with him couldn't get a word in. Maybe she is shy and that is why they put him with her.
Every time I see Ezra Miller I think of Tilda Swinton and how she embraced him as an upcoming actor. I wonder if she’s distanced herself from him now and is horrified. To have a legend like Tilda Swinton have your back and in response behave rude and disrespectful to everyone must have shocked her. She’s a respected woman of Royal descent and would never support this nonsense. Thank you Kjersti for sharing this uncomfortable interview. Ezra has lost his way and fame has certainly lead him down a dark path. Wishing you a wonderful Holiday Season. 🤍💫🕊️✨
He reminds me of a relative of mine who had a brilliant mind, but was hijacked by bipolar disorder and drug addiction. I hope this young actor gets treatment. He had such a promising career.
Bipolar disorder, delusional disorder, schizoaffective disorder, maybe even schizophrenia (his delusions of being a messiah, etc.). The people in the comments calling him a jerk and a drug addict shouldn't be so quick to judge. This guy definitely has mental health issues. In this interview alone, he exhibits disorganised thinking and seems quite manic.
The blazing red hands is a high-stress response. He may have crippling anxiety and goes automatically into this “I got this”, overcompensating, confident persona while he hides inside. I am not defending him, but I’ve seen this before and am just putting it out there. It may be a mental health issue that he tries to manage with alcohol or drugs since being a celebrity may put him in places he doesn’t have control over or know how to navigate.
Agree with the other comment. It was definitely dye on his hands 😂😂😂 He makes clothing with some girl and their clothes often have the color red, paint, personalized touches etc lolol.

It's not a terrible interview. Neither is it the worst interview, simply because it did not go the way you imagined it 'should'. He is revealing a lot about himself and displaying his character. This is a FANTASTIC interview!!! Look at what you captured and are sharing about him! When people behave in ways you don't imagine... go with it. Dig in... get more out of them... ride the crazy train with them! What else can you pull out of them when they're being mean, ironic, facetious... Let them fall flat on their face. Clearly, many of these individuals are dealing with issues that have - nothing - to do with you. Don't take it personally... Display it all... Get prepped though: Train on acquiring psychological tools to deal with and interact with bullies in your interviews. This could make for a fascinating show, especially when you have tools to help you deal with 'crazy,' so you don't feel so out of step! It would also be fascinating if you interviewed a psychologist who could help dismantle and explain the peculiar behavior we're watching... they could even discuss what you could have done... if anything... during the interview to combat situations like this.

No and that 'girl that he kidnapped' kept releasing statements and videos at the time that she was never kidnapped against their own will, that they are friends, etc. They now have a band together years later, seem to be very close friends, and have many videos laughing together and doing silly stupid things that friends do. Seems like some part of the narrative that others put on the situation, was not really her own/her side of the story.

Yeah that was the only part of the interview where I was like oook, I guess I can see why he is so problematic in this interview ? His response was definitely a bit pretentious and rude- not to make excuses but I see him as naturally riding at 10x the speed of most people and he probably doesn’t know how to stop and reflect before going off his own knee jerk responses, reactions, and quick trails of thought.
He had so much promise as a young actor and went off the rails. It is giving “I need to find a way to be a victim despite having all the opportunity in the world.” He has unfortunately lost his sanity trying to get attention.
The sad thing is. Warner bros waited to see how the flash did at the box office before they said the flash would be rebooted. If the film had been a hit despite his behaviour he would have had a sequel. When the director said "no one can play the role but him" er yes they can another guy played the same part (better i might add) on tv and wasnt a asshat behind the scenes. The film bombed and he ran out of road. Pun intended. But its scray to think if the flash film had been a mega hit would he still have a career? Hello Kjerski! I was just thinking about Ezra the other day, as his life has been quiet since The Flash came out in 2023. Hopefully he gets the help he needs and gets his life together. That's one wild interview you had with him. Lol. Thanks for sharing your experiences as a journalist and interviewer with us. Love your vids!
Thank you for watching 💗.
Just another example that we shouldn’t be looking up to celebrities as role models. Just because you can act, model, sing, etc doesn’t mean you are any more wiser and kinder than others who are not famous.
It’s in our wiring with familiar faces, but in this situation, not a good outcome. We really need to stop and think.
Well said. Stop the celebrity "role model" talk. That would be the exception, not the rule.
Hugh Jackman can’t sing. Someone needs to tell him.
Nobody looks up to celebrities we see their movies

Oh, man. Joan Rivers....imagine if she were still around doing interviews and encountered Ezra acting like this?? I would PAY to watch his abhorrent personality crumble under her takedown. I detest rude people.

Madness is how stupid people keep slandering ezra for clicks. Buy a life
Looking at this interview footage and not anything else, was his behaviour so bad? Rather than rude wasn't he just trying to be entertaining in a kooky way? @@maryjaneshoe-fm4yr it didn't look to me like that was his intension.
@@kevingregory-evans6285 and we don't make people feel anything. she could have ended or steered the interview better.

He was struggling with mental health issues. The truth is, he shouldn’t have been there. Somewhere in his career trajectory someone should have noticed “Hey, this guy is not well” and tried to get him help but instead they tried to milk every last dollar out of him until it was obvious he was troubled mentally.

This second interview honestly seemed like he was having a manic episode. Based on who he is, I actually expected these interviews to be MUCH worse.
