We bought 40 acres near Shell Lake in 2017. I grew up fishing Minnesota but I haven’t had time for fishing Wisconsin yet because we’re building a home yet in Wisconsin. I hope to get more time soon. Making a traditional trip to Winnie this weekend!

What’s going on with your boat? Did you just buy Mitch’s or are you getting a new one? Wonder if you still prefer the 185 to the 205 after fishing out of the big boat all season? Keep up the good work.

I'm still trying figure out walleye fishing on my kayak here in southern PA. I can usually only get one or two 17 inch keepers paddling with planer boards/bottom bouncers/butterfly blade spinner crawler harnesses. I have never been able to catch any on jig and minnow (big minnows and shiners are unavailable in PA these days).

Tom have a question. I fish a shield lake that is pre-turnover and finding all the bait fish off drops past the weeds. Cant locate the walleye but find the smallies in 20-22 feet of water off the rocks/weeds. Would the walleye be higher than baitfish or below them pre turnover?

@@TomBoley NP. Bought the app first day you had it out. Happy to support. Just throwing out an idea that may help your ROI or not. Doc Sonar gets 800 bucks for six hours in the boat. Thinking plan a trip a quater with a guy for 1k a /day in their rig. You build a video on the training kill two birds one stone & TB gets paid. Keep on keeping on. Working the process you have laid down. Trying to be a better fisherman each time with your teaching.

@@austinlocke4668 hey bud that isn’t true in all cases. Google my name with fishing. Put one pant leg on at a time. Tom’s just a regular guy. Heck bought him breakfast the other day and he didn’t even know it was me. He’s good peeps. Hard to scale as a single human to a 100k people it’s a matter of taking care of your fam my friend. You need to do what is right for you and yours as well as balance all the folks who want something from you. It’s hard spot to be in. Just my POV, I remember the favorite teacher I had in school. As a parent now , so grateful for all those who are teaching mine now. The real good ones. Tom is doing that for the masses in walleye fishing. Should be grateful for the education and recognize he has a family, house payments and everything to manage as well. Just my POV.
