Hi Mr. P! I found your videos last year when I was taking AP Physics C and I loved how well you explained concepts and gave clear definitions and whatnot. It really helped me build intuition and understand physics a bit more. Even though I'm not taking physics c anymore (I got a 5 on both physics c's so thank you, I couldn't have done that without your videos), I still watch every video that you release and I was wondering if you planned on continuing to upload videos on the AP Physics C: E&M curriculum? But anyway, I just wanted to thank you again for all the hard work you put into these videos and to let you know that they really are making an impact. I always enjoy learning with you!
Congrats on both those 5's, that is an impressive feat and thanks for watching my new release videos as well! With regards to more E&M curriculum videos, yes, I will be doing more of those. I'll come back to those in a few weeks.
i don’t really understand why there’s no change in the momentum. if he throws it i don’t get why the center of mass isn’t moving. i can’t understand why the net forces are zero.
There is a change in momentum, but not for the center of mass. The book is going north and east, while you are going south and east. The center of mass is between the book and you so it doesn't matter how far apart the book and you are as long as both you and the book are both going east.
@@clarkkoons6930after looking at this again it makes sense. been reviewing for the past couple days a lot. i assume you too are also preparing for the ap physics 1 exam?
In two-body systems, generally, and paradoxically... the center of mass is where there is no mass...
Great video.
