i dont mean to be so off topic but does any of you know of a method to log back into an instagram account..? I was stupid forgot my login password. I would love any tips you can give me
@Jamal Rene Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site thru google and im in the hacking process now. I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Sir , I haven't even seen you in person. But wish someday to meet you and say you how much you helped me through tough times. Not by words but by heart .
I read my Calc2 book; took me 20minutes to realize they totally skipped this, (cuz I should know it, lol.) I'm @1:25 into your video & I remember. Now 15seconds to THANK YOU!!!! and I'm done!! (Thanks!!)
in the last problem, it depends on what reference point we are going to pick. We can use the one that our professor, The Organic Chemistry Tutor, used wherein the back of the truck is in the x=10m or we can use the other one wherein the back of the truck is in x=0m and the front of the truck is in the x=10m. In this case, the computation will be 5m= (4,000kg(6m) + 1400kg(x2))/5400kg and if we solve it algebraically, the result will be 2.14m. Why 6m? It is because based on the problem, the truck "has its center of mass 4m behind the front of the truck." If we use the reference point where the front of the truck is in x=10m, then 10m-4m is equal to 6m. Let me know if you also use this one.
This topic is my report tomorrow and this vid helped me so much so THANK YOU!!! keep up the good work and I hope you post a lot about physics. I already subscribe btw :)
I have a doubt sir, in the last problem who have taken x1 value 4 which is center of gravity , but we should take 10 right , but why did you take 4 as x1🙂 plz give me answer sir
he took 4 because the x values should be the centres of individual masses and the centre of mass is at 4 meters for the truck. the 10m lenght doesnt need to be in the equation, it just shows that the centre of mass will be somewhere between 0 and 10.
in the last question i dont understand why you multiply the truck weight with its centre of mass whereas in the other problems you multiplied the mass usually with the distance.Kindly guide me Thanking you in advance
he used the center of mass of the truck as x because if u want to calculate x the mass will be canceled and x is equal to the center of mass i don't know if you got it
How come none of these adress the fact that an object has more than one “position. If it begins at 0 and is .5 meters long, is the position the avg length? (0+.5)/2=.25
yeah so most of these examples are for particles but there are some problems where the masses have more than one position. once i had a problem where 3 boxes had different lengths/masses (but same height) and i had to find their Xcms from an origin point set at the bottom left corner of the first box. Basically ycm was half the total height cause the 3 boxes all had same height, but for length it was different cause the three boxes had different lengths. box A had length 0.25 m, mass 0.8 kg box B had length 0.35 m, mass 1 kg box C had length 0.2 m, mass 0.6 kg i'm not sure if mass is relevant to your question, but you would use it to find the center of mass of the whole system. however, if we're just looking for center of mass for each box, this is how: I solved it with: X(a)cm = 0.25 m/2 = 0.125m X(b)cm = *0.25* + (0.35 m/2) = 0.425 m X(c)cm = *0.25m + 0.35 m* + (0.2m/2) = 0.7 m if we wanted to find center of mass for the whole 3-box system: xcm = (0.8kg * 0.125m) + (1 kg * 0.425m) + (0.6kg * 0.7 m) DIVIDED BY (0.8 kg + 1 kg + 0.6 kg) then we get the answer, the center of mass of the system is 0.394m. hopefully this answers your question!
Make a video about the very basics of algebra and algebra II combined or make a algebra basic playlist. I need to clean that junk so I can go on to more geometry and I done a bit trig but need to clean up :/
he just arbitrarily assigned the 0 to be the front of the truck, so the cm of truck is at 4m relative to the origin zero. What the answer of 7.86m means is that the center of mass of the object weighing 1400kg must be at 7.86 m relative to the origin. This cm of the individual objects give rise to the needed 5m center of mass of the system.
Because in the question they said the center of mass will be right in the middle of the truck and the truck is 10m long so the middle of the truck is 5
dude i cant understand your doubt..in case its the last qn,then its bcz its said that Centre of mass is in themiddle of the truck meaning 10/2=5..its middle

Your truck drawing is the embodiment of perfection, you even whent as far as adding the little line that goes across it

That's actually a good play on words. "I know my drawing's not perfect, but you get the picture".

box A had length 0.25 m, mass 0.8 kg
box B had length 0.35 m, mass 1 kg
box C had length 0.2 m, mass 0.6 kg
i'm not sure if mass is relevant to your question, but you would use it to find the center of mass of the whole system. however, if we're just looking for center of mass for each box, this is how:
I solved it with:
X(a)cm = 0.25 m/2 = 0.125m
X(b)cm = *0.25* + (0.35 m/2) = 0.425 m
X(c)cm = *0.25m + 0.35 m* + (0.2m/2) = 0.7 m
if we wanted to find center of mass for the whole 3-box system:
xcm = (0.8kg * 0.125m) + (1 kg * 0.425m) + (0.6kg * 0.7 m) DIVIDED BY (0.8 kg + 1 kg + 0.6 kg)
then we get the answer, the center of mass of the system is 0.394m.
hopefully this answers your question!
How did we get the 5 at the last question and why is it xcm=5
i love you
Make a video about the very basics of algebra and algebra II combined or make a algebra basic playlist. I need to clean that junk so I can go on to more geometry and I done a bit trig but need to clean up :/
ya i too need the same
did we assume that the weight of only the front of the truck to be 4000 and not the whole truck?......
Excuse me, why that the center of mass on the 4th problem is 5? Isn't it 4?
In the last problem why did he used the x1 for the truck 4 insted of zero, since the front of the car is located at position zero?
he just arbitrarily assigned the 0 to be the front of the truck, so the cm of truck is at 4m relative to the origin zero. What the answer of 7.86m means is that the center of mass of the object weighing 1400kg must be at 7.86 m relative to the origin. Sorry is the illustration of diagram compulsory ??
error in calculation in last question 27000/16000|=11000
10:02 I kind of ''hate'' when he says this because just a moment before I was thinking ''Woah! Look at that. I could not draw it like that''.
Is this a Integral formula? Can anyone answer my question please??? Thank you in advanced :)
Maybe
Why you choose 5m is a center of mass in article 4.
because the question asks for it to be moved to the middle, and the middle of a 10m truck is 5m
Reading this 20 minutes to exam 😹
If only he could reply comments😢
Wow! Tnx
How did you got 5m as center of mass?
Because in the question they said the center of mass will be right in the middle of the truck and the truck is 10m long so the middle of the truck is 5
