Beautiful Tribute to our U.S. Soldiers and the Great Filipino Warriors who went into battle side by side. God Bless them all and Thank You to them for the Freedom both of our Nations cherish.
My great uncle is honored on the wall of the missing. He was killed after the battle of the Leyte Gulf. Visiting the Manila American Cemetery is something I will never forget. It's a special place.
You should visit Maam. There's another Memorial Cemetery in Iloilo. They're all well maintained but nobody ever visit. Please come and visit them. We owe our freedom from them
This should be made a must go to site for the visiting diplomats and even for local officials. It is by honoring those who shed their blood in the past that we will realize how to value our future both for Filipinos and Americans alike. If I would be president, i would make this a part of the tradition for when one is sworn into office. An offering to the heroes that their memory will never be wasted!
It should be mandatory that all Americans who visit the Philippines should pay respect to the dead soldiers and respect their families who cant visit the Philippines.
We are very grateful to all the American soldiers and our countrymen who fought hard and died during the war that there may be peace in our country and the whole world. Eternal rest grant to their souls oh Lord and let Thy perpetual light shine upon them. Amen. Maraming salamat po.❤
I never knew their was a cemetery in manila. My uncle was on the U.S.S Cooper at leyete. I am glad to see that this is a beautiful place where these heros are honored. On this memorial day in 2020 with this terrible pandemic going on may all who sacrificed rest in peace. Diane G. Glen Mills Pa.
I like the American memorial cemetary its nice place in manila.however abive all i am hoping too pls make attention and prioritize also to rebuilt again the long stretch ruins of american barracks in coherridor in bataan because its falling into apart.if america is truely sincere about phils /US relations, then US govt should divert fund to rebuilt it again in its original state. you have the money anyway so pls dont forget to save the memorable place if actually phils/ american relations is as considered solid rock as said by many past american presidents, by saving it then the future generations would see it again.america is building long kilometers of high fence as to border between america and mexico as to no merit value at all , but the american barracks ruins is asking help due to neglected for so long decade years, i just hope and pray tobe put this topic in the US govt office table so as a calling to them. Why at present filipino people is losing trust vote to the americans everyday bec no fair treatment nor justice received.what is the purpose of the so called phil/ relations if no meaning.??????????? thanks and god bless us all.
If President Trump knows or told of ANY military monument that needs fixing he WILL fix it. If the Gov of the Philippines don't alert him to the problem how can he fix it?
My oldest brother John is buried there. He was 21 and it was 1945. I miss him every day.
